> 24 hourWe use these in the spice jar sized bottles like you would find in the spice rack in a grocery store. These do an excellent job of keeping the moisture from the air causing the herb and spice mixes we make from caking up. They would work well in shakers that get used in humid areas for a length of time, like picnics, beach parties, out on a boat. They also make them in other sizes for different sized storage containers.

> 24 hourI drop these in the spices I carry in my camp kit. Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and steak seasoning. When the gear is in storage and while I camp, it is subjected to extreme temp/humidity changes throughout Wisconsin seasons. As a result the spices would cake and sometimes even be damp. No longer. I am not quite sure how long they will last, but this pack came with 50 packets and they are cheap enough to toss and replace (each 1g packet comes to $0.14 a piece at my purchase price). If they last 1 full year (the individual packets in use, that is), I will likely just toss and replace them anyway just as preventative maintenance. Used with: TOBWOLF Portable Spice Bag with 9 Spice Jars (Amazon)

> 24 hourFirstly I should say that they are delivering exactly what they list. Aside from that, I think the manufacturer needs to change their packaging procedure. These packs come in a sealed bag for obvious reasons - Its necessary to cut the top off the bag with scissors before you can access the zip-lock opening. But the factory seal is so tightly in line with the zip lock opening that you have to cut it open just barely above the zip lock closure. This means it becomes difficult to grip the bag to pull part the zip lock seal. I think over time it could result in damage to the zip lock closure after repeated open/close cycles. The manufacturer could fix this issue by making the top of the bag slightly taller and ensuring the factory seal is only at the very top of the bag, leaving at least 10 mm of clearance above the zip lock closure.

> 24 hourI used to pressure can vegetables until I discovered dehydration. The time, space, and sheer weight savings by dehydrating have retired the pressure cooker. But oxygen and moisture will destroy dehydrated goods. Rather than using vacuum seal bags, mason jars are perfect storage vessels, easy to see contents, easy to use some, and reseal the jar. These, in conjunction with oxygen absorbers, have been used in storage for three growing seasons now, with NO spoilage issues!

> 24 hourBought old stock from china of security cameras, Inside these PTZ cameras are big packs of dessicants but they smelled horrible and the lens was fogging up. Bought these to shove inside the cameras housing and voila problem solved!! No more stank plus I dont have to worry about a short circuit. Plus theres enough in the package to not care about where you use them. Cheap and Great.
