The low star rating is not because its not a good brand or anything, its more to be aware of a possible issue. What I didnt know was that these packets come in different options so that if you need to now when its reached its saturation level it changes color. Then you can follow the reactivating process. You still can reactivate these but youll have to estimate or guess. This is your simple basic packet but they do give you a lot in the packet

I order these all the time. All went well as usual.

None of the contents have spilled out and they dont take up much room. Its difficult to tell if they are working or not since they dont change color after absorbing water vapor. However, Ive checked before and after with a hydrometer and they seem to be doing their job. I replace them about once a year.

I love it. I cut up my veggies, about 6 different ones to make a veggie platter. After 3-4 days the cucumbers get watery, radishes, these keep the fresh all week into 2nd week.

Used them to keep clothes dry in plastic bins. They work great, tend to last a few months. I wish they were less wasteful and less expensive, but I live in a humid climate and it’s better than all my clothes molding!

I was wanting these for storage items and I put one in my sugar shaker to see if it would help because it always clogs up and gets stuck while trying to pour out. I added one of these and problem solved! Very happy with this product!

We use these in the spice jar sized bottles like you would find in the spice rack in a grocery store. These do an excellent job of keeping the moisture from the air causing the herb and spice mixes we make from caking up. They would work well in shakers that get used in humid areas for a length of time, like picnics, beach parties, out on a boat. They also make them in other sizes for different sized storage containers.
