> 3 dayI use these in anything I want to either keep dry, keep fresh, or help it become fresher! I put one in every kind of packaged food that benefits from low moisture, such as: crackers, chips, nuts , blue cheese! (reduces mold growth-;). Great for rust prevention: tools (in a bag or box,) blow-dryer (in a bag or small drawer, etc. Silica packs dont work much in open air so be sure to use them in air tight situations (or Create them:-). Ive saved hundreds keeping food fresh. They even refresh crackers or chips for example, bringing the crunch and flavor back!

> 3 dayNot much too review - These things are small & convenient and do exactly as expected.. Their small size allows them to be used for many applications but have to be changed fairly frequently to maintain its job requirement. I usyally replaced the every 2 or 3 months depending on what I was using them for.. Although, dont expect these things to be able to dry up flood damage or something; be realistic.

> 3 dayI live in Hawaii. Spices clump or spoil quickly after a bottle is opened - even when the cover is replaced tightly. I add one or two of these to each bottle. In the large Costco-size containers, I put 3 - 4.

> 3 dayI used to pressure can vegetables until I discovered dehydration. The time, space, and sheer weight savings by dehydrating have retired the pressure cooker. But oxygen and moisture will destroy dehydrated goods. Rather than using vacuum seal bags, mason jars are perfect storage vessels, easy to see contents, easy to use some, and reseal the jar. These, in conjunction with oxygen absorbers, have been used in storage for three growing seasons now, with NO spoilage issues!

> 3 dayThis was my second purchase of this item, so thought it was past time for a review. These little packets are used to keep moisture from building up wherever you put them. I use them for craft purposes, putting them in the bags of my finished product to be sure to keep them dry. I also toss them in my plastic bins of fabrics and other crafting supplies to keep moisture low. Overall, very happy with them, and will continue to purchase this brand.

> 3 dayUsed them to keep clothes dry in plastic bins. They work great, tend to last a few months. I wish they were less wasteful and less expensive, but I live in a humid climate and it’s better than all my clothes molding!

30-03-2025We use these in the spice jar sized bottles like you would find in the spice rack in a grocery store. These do an excellent job of keeping the moisture from the air causing the herb and spice mixes we make from caking up. They would work well in shakers that get used in humid areas for a length of time, like picnics, beach parties, out on a boat. They also make them in other sizes for different sized storage containers.
