It works as expected. if you have it in line with another wifi set of lights it will independently turned on.

couldnt get the app to work , by the way the app is via a third party developer so there is no telling if this will be constantly updated and I couldnt get it to work with either my strip lights of my light switch and its so bulky that i couldnt put it behind the light switch and close it up

Requires 3rd party software and still would not pair with any router or network setup I tried. After my fourth attempt, I told Alexa to start a return on this item.

Great solution to the more pricey smart switches out there.

It does have 2.4 or 5Gz. Works but sporadically even with a wifi repeater within 40 feet. This unit has very poor reception as compared to other Wyze wifi plugins.
