There’s nothing quite like seeing a classic epic film on the big screen, but this projector makes it possible to come as close as you can at home. It’s not too heavy or too big, so you can either permanently set it up or bring it out as needed for movie night or the big game. The picture is great and compatible with 4K for the highest quality video you can have.

Epson 3800 4K HDR projector is not really a 4K projector. But it’s amazing and beautiful when you compare other 4K projectors in this price range. Brightness, HDR colors and contrast are absolutely great in this Epson 3800 Projector. It’s really a magical cinematic experience. I just connected it with my amazon firestick and the picture quality is awesome when I watch 4k movies from amazon, Netflix, hulu and even in YouTube. Other brands 4k projectors may be little more sharper than this projector. But no one can not beat the color, brightness and contrast of this Epson 3800 and the lens shift, keystone options are really helpful for set up. Constraints : Remote control is too big. Lens shift and keystone options are manual. HDR is not adjusting automatically. We need to setup manually based on the video content.

I am in a completely dark space, using on eco mode, and it is plenty bright. I am currently using an older receiver, so I cant comment on 4k, but everything, from streaming to BluRay to Red Dead Redemption 2, has looked great thus far. I cant imagine spending $5k+ for true 4k. Movies and games in HD are so amazing @ 135 that needing higher resolution for the non-OCD among us seems a little silly. Very little visible screen door, plenty bright, and the only time I really notice a resolution difference (vs led panel) is with live sports. But this seems pretty great, bang for the buck. At the rate Im going, my bulb will be dead in a year, but thats a good thing. It will be hard to play Xbox on anything else now...

I should have read up more on this model but there are no internal speakers. I planned to use external AV anyway, but just surprised it didn’t come with it. I am impressed with the picture quality and brightness though.

This projector is very good. We were pleased with the performance. We were able to make the screen very big. We were happy with the company. They are very popular with these projectors. It worked without a problem. It was a big increase in quality from our last one. So far so good.

Super nice projector but I am returning. Seems to have an extremely annoying brightness shifting during scenes. Ive tried the different color modes, Ive tried the different Image Enhancement modes. Ive also tried searching through the menus to see if there is anything that would cause the brightness shifting. Cant figure it out, sad Im returning it. Great picture quality and nice and quiet on Cinema and Natural setting.

Im new to projectors. Only have a cheap $200 one to compare it to. Picture is sharp, very bright, works well in room even when the window shades are open. No complaints. Good value for the money.

Excellent color, contrast and brightness. Input lag is good enough for console gamers. The ECO mode is quite. I like 3LCD projector more than DLP projector. They have better color and contrast. If you are like me, looking for a 3LCD projector, for movies and gaming, and 4K, Epson product line is definitely what you can’t miss. And this one, HC3800, is the best at $1000-$2000. I love it! (This is a late review. I bought the projector one year ago. I’ve been enjoying it for the past whole year. I am so glad that I did a right decision a year ago)
