Exo Terra Terrarium Decor Primate Skull

This is a skull.

I bought this for my granddaughters ball python terrarium. I have to admit it looks really cute in there with the snake crawling in and out all of the holes. He seems to like it and so does she.

I actually purchased this for my betta and even though its now a great product I kinda had to fix it after it arrived. the edges do have some sharp points so I did have to sand down certain areas so it didnt hurt my fish or his fins.

Maybe thinking this was the size of a regular humans head was being naive

Starters the star ratings give me an option to rate the suction power and idk what thats about but as for the cleaning and price of it, both at ease, the durability is great, and looks astounding in my terrarium alongside other skulls Ive purchased by this brand.

I seen people write that this isnt a main hide but I beg to differ, or at least my ball python does. I hardly ever see him in the cave I tried to designate as his main hide, even when it gets cooler. He spends Id guess about 18 hours out of the day in it. looking out the hole in the back. Now that he is bigger than a baby hell stretch out inside to keep me from pulling him out. The only way to get him out is to remove the skull from the tank and bait him out with a mouse or rat at feeding time. He loves it and its sad because, now I have to replace it with something bigger. I hate watching him trying to force himself through the eyes.(lol) He doesnt try the hole in the back much.

Snake loves it

Bought this as a decor items for his tank, but to my surprise my fully grown leopard gecko can fit in! Quite realistic, great but!

it’s a little too open for a ball python and a tad bit too small for a hot hide however it is very cute and adds a nice vibe to my tank :)

very sharp edges everywhere, but none the less an easy fix. Other than that just as pictured
