I bought this for a 42g Crested Gecko - to use as a hide. This showed up literally 30 minutes ago and it looks awesome - it’s the perfect overall size however; as few others have mentioned there are some very sharp edges. Especially on the inside of the resin which has a lip that hangs over practically every curve. They show a snake and a bearded dragon on the box cover; though I doubt anything larger than a 30g “baby” bearded dragon could fit through the back hole. I also thought that the crack on the back of the skull would be larger. Of course the sharp angles and the cracked look of the skull gives a cool effect but it is very dangerous and I’m also not sure it’s big enough for a variety of species of lizards. A part of me wanted to just simply return it because I know it’s going to take a fair amount of work before I can put it in my lil buddy’s home and feel comfortable enough that she won’t hurt herself. I actually don’t know if my 42g crested gecko could fit through the whole as it is… So I’m going to be taking quite a bit of time to use a Dremel and open up the back a bit and make sure that every single sharp angle and sharp lip are smooth before I put it in the terrarium. If there were no sharp edges I would have given this five stars but it’s getting a very generous 3 stars. I am including photos that I have not otherwise seen that will hopefully help other potential buyers.

This was misleading and wrong, the title and description are way off. Very small skull other sellers and aquarium fish stores sell a human skull for tanks but this is not.

Nice addition to our snake tank

I have this is my Cave Gecko tank, which is designed as you may guess, like a Cave lol. I have gray tone rock / ledges all over this tank, creating a sort of peek into the underground world of caves. This skull places on the bottom in my substrate has made the Cave look epic. Not to spooky but just eerie enough to fit the Cave Gecko theme!

Great product! Got this for one of my Crested Geckos bioactive tanks. Makes a great decoration in the tank on top of being also a good hide for my gecko if he so chooses.
