The tape did not work to repair a split in my shower floor. It did not adhere to the floor base like the commercial showed so that water would not leak through. I will be returning this product.

I loved this product! Its like nothing Ive used before, withheld stuff that I expected it not to, after I ran some trials to test durability of the product! Awesome stuff, dont skip out on buying it!

My first problem was removing the protective plastic-cant believe that they are so cheap to give you not enough to grab hold of- finally had to use needle nose pliers. The tape itself is flimsy- no thickness; flips around on itself; and one time while stretching it the tape broke. The tape is only 1 in width so it makes it difficult to cover much area. Finally, I used on a hose and it leaked. Better to stick to the good stuff- had none of these problems with the Amazon choice - A week later it would form bubble and then burst- a waste of time and money. X-Treme Tape TPE-XR1510ZLB Silicone Rubber Self Fusing Tape, 1.5 x 10. It may be more expensive but it will save you a great deal of frustration.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I wish I could give it 10 stars! Listen, for those who give this tape bad reviews because they think it doesnt work, then youre simple not using it correctly. I see one review here where the writer suggests buying scotch tape instead - if youre using this tape on a job where you could use scotch tape then youre not using it right. As for the one who said it didnt work on his hose, my guess is that he did not wrap it tight enough. I have used this tape in many situations including high pressure hose systems and it ALWAYS works. I have also purchased the F4 tape and it works the same. The difference is that you get almost six times the amount of product from this six pack. The F$ reads that it is 20 mil thick and the Fix-It does not say how thick it is. I think it is actually not as think as the F4 but I have not found any job where that mattered. The Fix -It take never breaks so I guess it doesnt need to be 20 mil think. Anyway, I am really excited to have found the 6 pack of fix it. I can do even more projects. I have indoor grow setups and this take work so much better than duct tape for vents. There is a lot of venting when you set up a grow tent. Vents to fans and lights and such. When I can, I use this tape instead of hose clamps and it works even better. Absolutely better than duct tape if there is any heat or moisture involved. The ducts tape (which I always used in the past) gets gooey and separates under consistent warm or moist/wet conditions. The Fix-It tape works perfectly. Also, I cannot see any situation where it could wear out.

Great tape with alot of uses

This stuff is terrific! I have used it to repair irrigation pipe, wrap electrical connections (trailer), repair car vacuum lines... tons of stuff! Only sticks to itself and stays forever. When removed there is never any residue!

THIS TAPE IS TOTALLY AMAZING. IT REALLY WORKS AND SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN YOUR MOTORHOME AND AT HOME WITH YOUR PLUMBING SUPPLIES.

Recently a plumbing line leaked which the plumber said was hard to fix. He realised that a tape had been used to fix the previous leak. My husband explained how he used a specific tape 6 years ago. We searched our local stores which werent aware of such a product. As always, I looked up on Amazon. There it was. I used it on my hairband as soon as it arrived. Wow! It sealed the edges permanently. Cant wait for a plumbing leak to wrap one around. We have given a tape each to our closest friends.
