I bought this tape due to having a leaky copper pipe that dripped water steadily into my dining room closet. I saw an ad on television for Mighty Fixit tape (being hawked loudly by the British guy); its amazing abilities being lauded quite voraciously. As my first introduction for this product was an As Seen on TV commercial, I was skeptical about its abilities to perform well. Color me surprised. This tape is absolutely wonderful. It only sticks to itself, and when it does, it is a solid bond. The tape is stretchy, too, so that you can securely wrap it around whichever surface you want. You may think that it only being able to stick to itself is counter-intuitive; this is definitely not the case. When stuck to itself, it is secure and water-tight, creating a seal that is better than nearly any standard tape on the market. Thus far we have used this tape to repair the leaky pipe (works like a charm!), wrapped it around an electrical cord that a certain kitten decided to gnaw upon, and also used it to create a rubbery grip on a crochet hook. Uses for this tape abound; use it to repair, create a comfort grip, even to render something waterproof. This stuff gives duct tape a run for its money. Even after only a few uses today, this product has earned a coveted spot within my toolbox. I will definitely buy more when I run out. Every household should have a few rolls of this on-hand; be creative and I am sure that you will find just as many uses as I have, if not more!

Have you ever had one of those moments where you tried something new and now dont know how you got along without it? This is what happened when I first tried this tape. I didnt use it to fix any leaks but did use it to wrap the end of bar tape on my bike. It sticks to itself and holds tight while not leaving gooey residue on anything else. I see many similar uses for this tape in the future.

I use this stuff all over the place. Its very strong and holds up very well. I used it on my Intex Ultra Frame pool to seal the joints and keep out water and prevent rust. Now I live in Florida and it gets so hot you can darn near fry an egg and the steal joints on the pool get just as hot. I seal the pool back in late March and now its September. All joints have held up and are still water tight even after all the exposure they have had. This tape works very very.

The tape is great. Stopped the leak from the bathroom sink drain eliminating the need to replace trap.

I HAVE USED THIS TAPES NOW FOR YEARS, I LIKE THEM THEY ARE EXCELLENT.

Electrical repair, insulating handle to a tea kettle, non-slip handle on tools, etc. The quality is better than others tapes I have bought.

I loved this product! Its like nothing Ive used before, withheld stuff that I expected it not to, after I ran some trials to test durability of the product! Awesome stuff, dont skip out on buying it!

I read about this tape in family handyman magazine and just had to try it. Can be a little difficult to use until you get the hang of it, but I used it to repair a metal trellis in the yard and it has held up nicely.

Used it to fix a leaky hose ... water still seeped out even though the tape was on tight.

I wrapped the tape around a garden hose with a split. I went a couple inches past on each end so i had an 8 inch tape wrap when I was done. I even took smaller pieces and just warapped around a couple of times at each end afterward. I then turned the water on: water sprayed out one end of the repair, a big blister appeared in the repair, and then ... the middle just blew out!
