Greater than one weekThis stuff is fantastic. You have to pull it to activate the stickiness but once you figure that out, its the best tape ever. If you ever have a hose spring a leek, this stuff will fix it for longer than the life of a hose. If we have a leaky pipe, we wrap this guy around generously and it stops the leak. We live in Africa where the plumbing materials arent the best quality and plumbers are nonexistent. This stuff passes the Africa test so its handy to keep around you 1st world houses for little fixes here and there.

> 3 dayI use this to waterproof coax on radio installations. I have also used it to repair leaks under the hood and attach things where I do not want a sticky mess. It is heat resistant and water proof. It has its limitations, it does not stick to anything else. It must be clean and dry or it will not stick, dust and grease will not allow it to bond. It only sticks to itself and when it does it bonds into a solid mass that can not be separated. Repairing things like garden hoses does not seem to work as the tape will not stick to the hose and will allow water to leak past the tape and the hose. Hoses are better repaired by cutting and coupling anyway. It will not repair everything. If you have an application that can be repaired by wrapping the tape around it, this is for you. Otherwise some other kind of tape is what you are looking for. This seems to be the best buy at the moment.

> 3 dayThese rolls are a great device for wraping up wiring solder joints to protect from fowl weather. If your connection is outside or exposed theese should protect them.

> 3 dayThe first one I got and tried looked initially good and easy to use, however the next day I found that the tape unraveled itself not sure if this may have expired shelf life of what, I tried another piece this time I wrapped electrical tape over the thing and this time it worked ok. Not what I expected. :(

> 3 dayMy father in law bought this for us and we thought it was a joke until we had a leak in a sump pump hose, which those hoses have ridges in them so it is not a smooth hose. My husband remembered that his dad gave us this tape and so we started to wrap it around the spots that the leaks were coming out of and to our surprise it worked! You do have to make sure you are over lapping it and pulling it fairly tight. One spot we only over lapped it a little and the leak broke through, but all the other areas stayed dry. If you use it right, it will work great!

> 3 dayI bought this to fix a leaking hose. Turns out you need several rolls and eventually it leaks again. Other similar tapes with heat and temperature ratings work lots better but you pay for it.
