If you have security cameras from Lorex or others make sure you buy one like this with the big power supply. The puny one that has the little box on the plug plugs in the wall will barely run a calculator and hurt your camerras. Works perfect.

Does not have the power to drive 8 cameras. the female connection to the 8 power cords was damaged. quality control missed this one looks like a repackaged return item. shipping was fast thats reason for 2 stars.

During unpacking, I noticed click sound when I shake the power supply. When I used it, it caused a noticeable noise (looked like snowing) on my monitor and it was hot.

I got rid of 2 power strips for 8 cams on my house the clutter is gone but I fear all cams go down if one power pack goes bad so we see how long it last but as of now I’m happy
