Heard a lot of good, bought one and tried it out of the box. It is 1/32 off when you hook on an object from when you burn an inch. I like the features this thing has but as a fine furniture builder, 1/32 is way too much for a tape to be off.

23 months ago I bought this tape measure for $11.44 on Amazon. The metal riveted clip just began wearing out, adding length to outside measurements. Annoying, but I caught it very quickly, so it didnt turn into a complete disaster of a project. Either way, $11.44 / (23 months * 30 days) = less than 2 cents a day. Im very satisfied with that ROI. But wait, it apparently gets better, because its now $7.99. Im ordering a handful more. Oh, by the way, Im a professional woodworker. I used this tape nearly every day during those 23 months. No bacon edges, no inaccuracies until now, and easy to read either direction.

Fantastic tape measure. Numbers vibrant and easy to read. Love the feel. Been dropped several times and still working great. Loved so much, bought 4 more!!!

This is by far my favorite tape measure lots of built-in features, pencil sharpener and a area to write on the tape measure itself for a quick measurements.
