> 3 dayWant to love Fastcap tape measures as they are trying to innovate but unfortunately the quality just doesnt measure up to the clever features. Fit and finish is spotty to poor. The pencil sharpeners are cheap and fail quickly. The pivoting belt hook is hard to use and makes it that much harder to just shove in a pocket. The finger brake on the bottom requires so much force that it does not provide any real benefit. Trying to disengage the top lock and get your finger onto the bottom finger brake one handed is an exercise in frustration. The tape does provide a nice wide rigid tape in a small package. The left to right feature of this Fastcap version makes it too hard to read (at least for anyone over 45). Any gain in convenience from having numbers pointing both ways is negated by the small size of the numbers. I find it much easier to read a big number upside down than to read this tape. The alternating black and red fractions ARE very easy to read.

> 3 dayEs una excelente cinta nomás que si carece de robusteza con el tiempo se va acabalando rápido y la cinta no es muy buena no puedes usarla en las alturas por que la cinta siempre termina por doblarse y no deja tomar buenas medidas

> 3 dayI use this tape meaasure on a daily basis. The ability to measure and read the tape from either direction is invaluable to these tired old eyes. But the belt clip is a useless appendage as it is far too weak to hold the unit securely. I have a quality shop apron with a metal reinforced tape holder. No matter what I have tried the tape measure is easily knocked off of my apron to fall to the bench or floor. I have even attached it to the regular pockets, in an attempt to change the angle and avoid contact with arms, tools, benches, and anything that would knock the tape from my apron. Of course the tape may be held within the pockets - but this defeats the purpose of the belt clip.

> 3 dayMy son is left-handed, so the ability to read from both sides is a plus. I prefer the clearly labeled fractions on the tape. We measured it against our Woodpecker measuring sticks and it is accurate. I bought the 25 version. too.
