FastenMaster FMHLGM412-50 HeadLOK Heavy-Duty Flathead Fastener, 4-1/2 Inches, 50-Count

I was recommended to use these by a friend. After seeing the price, I was a little hesitant, but figured Id try a box out. Wow! I love these screws and they leave me feeling like my builds are secure and stable. Very nice head that allows for the screws to be driven in to wood without stripping the product. I also like the wide head, which allows me to pull my materials in tight without blowing through the lumber or splitting it. I strongly recommend these screws if youre building and want a secure joint.

Great screws, but did not come with the bit that it takes to drive the screws into wood. Now I have to hope the hardware store has some so I can start my project.

Well the package claims there is 50 screws. Curiosity made me count. Two missing. Quality control must have been layed off. So I paid more and you made more profit.

Great value and excellent screws. Performance is exactly as advertised. We used them to assemble raised beds and a surround for our shed. Definitely use an impact driver for efficiency.

This fastener is easy to use and for the most part seemed to do the job. However, I needed 48 fasterners to accomplish my project. When I opened the sealed box I found only 46 fasteners. Frustrated and with time running short, I simply ordered another box of 50 to get the additional two fasterners required. When the second sealed box arrived, I opened it and counted the number of fasteners. Again, I received only 46 fasterners in a box clearly marked 50 screws. Finally, e-mail was sent to FastenMaster for their explanation. Two weeks later ... no answer. My suggestion? Try another brand/syle. They are out there, and from my experience they might even work a little better. If you choose to use this product, be prepared for a possible 8% shortage.

Much nicer looking than old-school lag bolts that tend to snap. Made installing a set of exterior steps much easier. Would purchase again

The best screws. Great quality. V easy to use

These are really great fasteners! I used them building a pavilion next to my pool and they worked perfectly! I like the star head, never slips. Just wish they werent so darn expensive!
