These are great screws. The other reviewers have covered their good points. There is a catch--the driver needed to use them. While it certainly resists cam-out, the teeth or splines on the drivers tend to break all too easily--sometimes after driving only 20-30 screws. I dont know whether the problem is with the number of points, which makes each drive spline too thin, or inadequate heat-treating, or what. I do know that if, like me, you use this type of screw in large quantities (I am a builder and specifically a timber-framer), you will need a significant back-up supply of the drivers. That said, I continue to use these screws for their strength, good looks, and durability.

These are really excellent. I wish they were a bit cheaper. Very well made. I counted mine and they were 50 to the box.

Price was good, delivery was good. They are as advertised and worked great in my application screwing gable trusses to the side of my shop to attach a roof to cover my doors. There was 50 in the box and there was a driver in the box.

These used to be my favorite fasteners for wood projects. Very good. Easy to drive, nice mostly flat head. However I have found other fasteners I like better that are cheaper. (spax)

use w a powerful drill/driver. drill a pilot hole when necessary (rarely) to prevent splitting... I use them for framing, for restoration. Clamp a sister to exstg pc, drive 2 or 3 Timberloks, then you can undo to adjust position or re-cut. When its right and tight, Ill nail the pieces - maybe leave TLs in or remove them for reuse. They can be driven in places where you cant swing a hammer.

i use these screws for fastening kitchen islands to the floor, ive been using these screws for this for sometime, pretty much since they came out with them, they are perfect and amazing this is the first time having bought them online,,, i now find myself trying to figure out how to kick myself in the butt for not buying them here before ive been purchasing them at one of the 2 popular hardware/lumber chains since using them and it is the exact same product but at a fraction of the cost,,,,cant beat that

Something different as the (same) ones bought a few months back in the box store, also slightly different packaging. The finish is rougher, and they dont go into wood as easily. To me it appears as is some corners have been cut.
