Feather Double Edge Safety Razor Blades 100 Count

I purchased the Feather Stainless Steel double edge razor, which came with a 5 double edge blade cartridge. I purchased these 100 Feather Razor Blades in addition. While waiting for these blades, I used a couple of the blades that came with my razor. Those blades cut smooth and clean and left my face buttery smooth. Once these razor blades arrived, I opened up a fresh pack of these and began using them. These blades left my face cut up with razor burn. I continued to use these blades for approximately a month and it didnt seem to get any better. I went back to the blades that had come with my original Feather Razor to see if it was the way I was shaving. Needless to say, the original blades left my face buttery smooth with absolutely no cuts or razor burn. Either Feather has different types of blades with different qualities or these are knock offs. Either way, Im left with a 95 more razor blades that will probably tear my face apart. These were shipped from Thailand so keep that in mind. I would either buy from a domestic seller or Japanese seller, since these are supposed to be made in Japan.

I had ordered these back in 2018 to save the money of having to go to the store all the time and buying new Gillette razors and they were very good quality. I got several decent shaves out of a single blade. But my mom and I had a pest issue at our house and in a years time from that first purchase, we moved and put most everything in our storage unit to sit there for over 18 months and that included the yellow box of blades. So at our new address I finally got around to ordering the same blades along with a razor to go with them and saw that the box was red instead of yellow. Since it was during the heavy part of the pandemic when I ordered them, I thought the reason they pulled so much as opposed to the ones in the yellow box was because perhaps the coating process may have involved handling that would result in spreading of the coronavirus?? That was just my guess but idk for sure if thats the reason. But I had this same exact experience before even reading what some of the other one star reviews have to say, which is exactly what Im saying. Im making sure to use these up by shaving with them while showering because it works better when theres more moisture in the air. Otherwise it would just cause a bunch of pain and scarring all over my face if I were to just go ahead and use them regularly like the Gillettes. Well at least theres still a half yellow box to look forward to as we have still not yet gone back to storage to get our items. Yellow = Coated. Red = Worst shaving experience of anyones life. Why did they discontinue the great quality they had before??

Its simple really, these are the sharpest blades on the market, and honed smooth for the perfect shave every time. I have sensitive skin and these are the only blades that do not give me razor burn.

Not yellow package as advertised, but are packaged in a black and red design. Blades have two dots of the packaging glue that is very difficult and dangerous to remove. The blades dont shave like the yellow feathers I have purchased in the past. Razor burn has occurred after almost every shave so far. I wouldnt suggest purchasing these blades. Cant return them either. Guess Ill try to sell them on ebay or something.

I am 63 years old and have used safety razors for decades. I tried Feather blades a few years back and now use them exclusively. Super sharp and long lasting. I favor the vintage Gillette tech razors from the 30s and 40s. My best razors give me up to 3 weeks of shaves with Feather blades.
