Wish the string attached to the beat stick were longer to allow side play. With the short string all you can do is hit the notes from a perpendicular fashion. At 13 mo. Its hard for her to get the sound out of the notes. She likes hearing what she is doing though.

Fisher Price knows how to make toys that last. This one’s already my granddaughter’s favorite toy and as anyone will tell you…that’s a lot coming from a 10 month old.

Heh, heh, heh...the ultimate grandparents gift to a toddler! Its colorful, its extremely well-made as are all Fisher-Price toys & its loud :) I have vivid memories to this day of when my sons grandma and grandpa gave him his first Fisher-Price xylophone & it quickly became a favorite. It lasted through several other kids & I do believe he regifted it to a family member 25 yrs. later as soon as his own daughter grew out of it & into a keyboard. Now his son will have one, too. Sonny cant complain, as hes very big on family traditions. LOL

I love this product for my babies. I got this for my twin one-year-old boy‘s birthday presents. My only complaint is I wish the cord was just a little longer. It’s hard for anyone to hit the higher notes. My kids love this!

Held up nicely!

I had one of these as a kid and I was very excited to get one for my daughter. But the string is so small, which makes it hard to use the product. I’m sure the string length has to do child safety, but it still makes the product hard to use. We ended up cutting the string off entirely so now it’s two separate pieces.

Xylophone is in tune but the wand is on such a short string, it’s hard to have enjoyable play

I got it for my chickens. They don’t play it but it keeps them from places I don’t want them to dig to escape. It is a colorful addition to the pen.
