These scissors are elite. They are very ergonomic and are comfortable to use for extended periods (such as arts and crafts). The blades themselves are very sharp so the scissors basically just glides through the paper without even cutting it.

My granddaughter appreciates these so she can cut much easier.

Theyre very sharp, straight, and durable (storage-wise--I keep these with my tools for work). I dont use them often enough to know how well they hold the edges, however. For my purposes, the tips of these are a much sharper (pointier) than Id like (despite the flat tip) so keep that in mind. They do make kids scissors with blunt (rounded) tips, but unfortunately they dont make a blunt tip version of this particular size. Still, unlike some cheap scissors with tips that bend and quickly go dull (or were not sharp enough to begin with), these are good enough that Ive bought a set for work and for home. This can cut through blister packaging pretty easily.

Purchased this product for a left-handed orthotic technician for work. He loves not having to use the right-handed scissors any longer to cut the material. Cuts perfectly and does not leave any imperfections with the material we use.
