This scissors were sharp and fit the hand nicely right out of the packaging as one would expect. However there are nicks in the blades on the cutting edge. Since I got these to trim the hair on my dog these nicks present a problem since where there are nicks they do not cut the hair, the scissors pull the hair. Maybe it was just the luck of the draw on the particular set I received but then if mine were damaged perhaps there are others. Thus the two stars.

would not buy any other kind. I own several pairs. I am a seamstress at a local textile company and do mending and hemming and I cut 2 pant legs off at once with my Fiskars. The scissors they provide would not do that plus I think I would get carpal tunnel from using theirs...

Scissors that actually work!

It’s was so tightly put together, that I had to loosens the bolt that held it together to even get it to really move. The thick plastics is also a discomfort compared to other scissors.

Like every other southpaw on the planet, I have struggled with right-handed scissors all my life. If the handles are shaped to fit the right hand, using them with the left causes the grip to bite into the hand. This produces pain, numbness, and a lot of use can yield nerve and muscle damage. If the scissors have tubular or round handles that are symmetrical, the leftie still cannot use them easily because the upper blade hides the cutting line. This makes cutting with precision impossible.

Two pairs of scissors, excellent Fiskar quality at an unbeatable price. Best left handed scissors around. Love them!

Love ❤ my Fiskars. Use them to cut material, cardboard and for general household uses. They never let me down.

I like the color. It is different from my right handed scissors so easy to find. The ability to better cut along the seams and right corners is great.

The last pair I had were about 20 years old. I LOVE Fiskers!!

Wish I’d taken a video of my son when he first used these. He was so shocked and excited. All his life (he’s 21 now), he’s always had a hard time using scissors. Turns out, he just needed left-handed ones. He took these back to his apartment and uses them everyday, he says.
