> 3 dayUpset with this product quality, mostly because of the home button assembly. Upon completing the install and testing out the iPad before final assembly, the home button was not functioning. Upon closer inspection, I could see that it was poorly put together, and the button was sliding out of alignment with the cable. I ended up having to scavenge the home button from the old digitizer. I was really excited about the product, but in the end it was a disappointment. Also developed a hairline crack, so I had to reorder the part. Going with a different vendor.

Greater than one weekGreat product, perfect replacement for my iPad Air, you need to be really really careful with edges to not damage the product Incase if you are opening for any reason, give yourself 2 hours to work on it slowly.

> 3 dayMy dad wanted me to fix my grandmas iPad and found this online. Purchased it, and installed it myself. Works great and would recommend. Just be careful with the suction cup as it can damage the LED causing a redish hue circle to appear where the suction cup was. The iPad we bought was originally defective, so this was a great fix that was much needed.

> 3 dayI was successfully able to repair all the old iPhones laying around my house. Then I challenged myself to repair my sister’s cracked iPad Air (1st Gen). However, after carefully following instructions, the bottom have of the screen seems to be unresponsive. Disconnected & reconnected everything & same result. I hope the seller can rearrange something soon, would be very appreciated. For some reason there’s no option to upload a picture or video.

> 3 dayPretty good replacement. Looks good. The tape is not as strong as the original or high dollar replacement, but it works just fine.

> 3 dayHooked up digitizer with no issues. After testing it I proceeded to try and close it permanently. The ribbon connectors are too stiff and close to the edge of digitizer and dont allow it to seal properly. Tried several times to close it with no success and on last attempt ribbon developed a flaw. Left digitizer unresponsive on one row.

> 3 dayThis was installed on an iPad Air (A1474). The instructions are helpful for getting the old screen out, but there was no instructions for installation. This screen had cables bent in positions that did not allow installation from those angles, so it took some trial and error to find a way to tuck them in place where everthing still worked. That meant NOT removing any of the adhesive protectors until the absolute very end and after the screen was tested for full function. Then once everything was together, we noticed (Murphs Law, of course) that the home button was loosely rattling around in its space and not returning to the top of the screen. It still works, but regularly needs coaxing into its proper position. Im not certain where that failure occurred in the installation process or whether it is a defect - I didnt adequately inspect its function prior to the install, only that it initially and superficially appeared normal. So, I suggest that you check the home button function prior to installation. Update ~30 days later - the adhesive has loosened causing the screen to lift in places around the bottom outer-shell. This is not acceptable! I paid close attention to clean procedures, so this should not have happened if a quality adhesive was used.
