> 3 dayThe glass cracked after 15 minutes. I took the original glass from the iPad and test bend it to see if it is as brittle but the original was very flexible. I was careless and broke the flex cable when I opened the iPad to replace the audio jack. I bought the new glass to replace myself but after 15 minutes of use, the glass cracked.

> 3 dayThis is the second screen I have replaced and the install was pretty smooth with the included tools, however the home button broke the first time I pressed it and the screen cracked within a week.

> 3 dayThe digitizer works. Inclusion of camera bracket, home button assembly and cable, and adhesive strips already attached are all welcome features. Anyone with more experience at this than myself wouldnt have had my minor problems. I found thin strands of glue stuck to the inside surface and ending up putting scratches on it trying to remove it. This might not have been a problem if there was a protective cover on the inside as well as the outside surface. The home button cable doesnt have adhesive supplied to keep it in place which would have been useful when closing it up. Another problem not related to the product that others might find useful: I found the LCD cable plug/tab to be more difficult to get seated than indicated in any of the YouTube videos. It definitely snapped in, but the LCD would not turn on. After several inspections and attempts at reinstalling I pushed down on it more forcefully out of desperation. I didnt feel any additional snap, but it finally came on.

> 3 dayThe round button is garbage - loose when it works, falls out and have to use a sharp point to pull it back into place. Extremely disappointed, now have to replace with a better quality screen and good button.

> 3 dayThe pre-glued on parts were nice, but they were not centered properly and pinched one of the flat cables. The screen worked for a few days then started to behave weird, like someone was pressing on the screen when in fact nobody was. Slightly prying back up the screen where the pinched cable was helped, but it will need to be completely replaced.

Greater than one weekI cracked the screen on my iPad Air and was going the discard it after getting quotes of $180 or more to replace the screen. I saw this product and after looking at several YouTube videos decided to attempt the repair myself. The kit provided everything that you needed. The hardest part was removing the screen. I accidently tore one of the ribbons attached to the old screen when I removed it. Fortunately, the replacement screen had a new ribbon attached to it! The quality of the materials was excellent and the iPad looked like a new model after the repair. It was also a fun project. The instructions that were provided with the kit were not very good and you should review several videos on You Tube before attempting the repair. The kit provided the proper tool and the adhesive strips were already applied to the replacement screen which also saved a lot of time.
