> 3 dayThis is a difficult job for me as a first-timer, but the directions (although tiny) and included tools were extremely helpful. There wasn’t any adhesive to fold back the digitizer connector, at least if I understood that correctly. I tore off a piece of the tape that kept it closed originally to keep it folded. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase, but there are some improvements needed. The instructions could be included online; the website wasn’t up at the time of this writing. My main complaint is that the digitizer is coming up. I now have to buy some tape and reinstall it. It would’ve been nice if take was included or if it was recommended.

> 3 dayOverall the installation was simple. Took about 30 minutes. The package came with a set of detailed instructions and tools. Local shop asked $100 to fix the screen. This $20 replacement was both affordable and high quality. The adhesive could be better but nothing some silicon glue wouldnt fix

Greater than one weekIt works. Very easy to install. Biggest issue they don’t give any instructions how to. The hardest part is taking off your old screen. There is not any formal YouTube instruction. I had to dig and found one not sponsored. Another warning is. I thought it did not work or I had done something wrong. It would not turn on normally. You need to reboot after you finished installing. Hold home button and side button at same time for a few seconds.

> 3 dayI fix things. If you dont, its best to leave this alone and send it to a repair shop. I bought 2 of these, the first to fix my wifes ipad mini 2, the second to fix my daughters. It worked, but took me a full day for each. One thing that is not apparent is the plastic film you need to remove from the gasket in order to seal the new digitizer. Its very difficult to see, but its there and you need to remove it. It would be nice if this company had a youtube video of their own to help you, but you have to rely on other suppliers videos to get the job done. No instructions included and the instructions provided in the ad are minimal. But it works.

> 3 dayIt came with everything needed, (well, almost everything, a heat gun that warms it up to make it easier to open it is really helpful, but not necessary) and packaged nicely. They do a really good job putting it all together. So, if you are comfortable following instructions, patient and not afraid to crack open your tablet, it saves quite a bit over the repair shops, and honestly, I think I did a better job cleaning up the old adhesives than the last place that repaired it.

> 3 dayI was able to replace my digitizer screen successfully for which I’m happy about. The tools that came with the screen worked great too. The only recommendation that I have is to provide very clear and larger instructions for the replacement. The instructions provide were super tiny and there is no way the required detail can be seen. Thankfully I’m fairly intuitive and could figure it out. What would work well is to provide a link to clear, high resolution instructions online.

> 3 dayThis is a GREAT kit. The adhesive is not super strong but I have never ordered a kit that had adhesive as strong as the original, I get around it by using a case and have no problems. I installed this kit according to a you tube video and the first time it took me FOREVER. Easily an hour. I got the whole thing disassembled, replaced, reassembled, and the screen wouldnt come on. You have to unplug the LCD screen to get to the glass screens connector. So I took it back apart to see if the connection was secure, it was, unfortunately, put it back together, nothing. Set it aside and a few months later, started searching on replacement LCD screens, thinking I had fried it.I found one that had a comment unplug battery if LCD isnt recognized, it will force the ipad to recognize the new LCD screen. So I took it back apart (now Ive got it down to about 10 minutes. :) ) and just popped out the battery connector and plugged it back in and the darn thing started right up. I had forgotten to turn off the ipad before I started, maybe if I would have remembered that step, I wouldnt have had to unhook the battery...

> 3 dayIt lasted little over one year, then it started acting up, either not responsive or clicking random spots as if one touched the screen when not. 3 stars for lasting one year for the price.

> 3 dayThe package contains a set of tools that will come in handy. However, there are no instructions with explanations of what the tools are for or how to use them. You will have to find a YouTube video that will give instructions for your specific iPad. The package didn’t contain anything to attach the new screen with. Fortunately I had some super glue which is what they used in several YouTube videos that I watched. The process is very involved and not easy. After I reassembled my iPad it seemed to work great at first, while it was laying flat on my desk. But as soon as I pick it up it turns off. I’m afraid to try and take it back apart to find the problem so I have to operate it laying flat on a table.

> 3 dayI purchased this screen replacement for my ipad mini2 hoping to bring my tablet back to its original state before one of my kids broke it (although none of them are willing to fess up who dropped it.) I watched a few YouTube videos and it look fairly easy so I gave it a go. Some hour or so later, I had a brand new looking tablet for a very inexpensive price. It shouldnt take that long but I was having a really hard time separating the old screen. It kept breaking into tinier pieces and tiny glass shards kept flying everywhere plus I was being extra careful not to breakthe LCD screen when I got to it. The first 2 pictures are the before...obviously! And the second 2 are after. The last picture shows a teeny tiny gap between the edge of the screen and the frame. Thats because the adhesive that comes attached to the screen is not that great and pulls apart on the sides only. If I had to do it again, I would buy additional adhesive strips to put down. I am not concerned because I am planning on putting a hefty case on now that will push/hold down the screen. Other than that, I think it is a great product and I would definitely buy it again!
