If you want to get accurate reading, this one will do the job.

The test leads this comes with dont work with any of the adapters (alligator clips, etc.) Fluke sells. Instead, you have to buy a new set of test leads for them. Deceptive practice in my opinion.

Nice piece of equipment

After evaluating close to a dozen Chinese-made DMMs, Id have to say the Fluke 115 (made in China as well) is one of the best built and performing instruments for the money. This meter is definitely built to the standards of the the US-made Flukes. Its a good entry -level electronics hobbyist meter and excellent house-hold instrument. Drawbacks in my opinion are an only so-so display contrast, and lack of the famous Fluke touch-hold. The latter of which is puzzling to me as this extremely useful function is found on virtually every other Fluke DMM. Attributes: true RMS, a rock solid feel in the hand, nice rubber boot , illuminated display, very good tilt bail, and fastest latching continuity beep Ive ever encountered.

After many years buying cheap multi-meters I treated myself to a fluke. Best investment EVER

Awesome multimeter! Zero problems with it, and I use it nearly every day for small electronics projects (so far, I havent had to use it on anything bigger than 12V, and Ive used it to measure voltages as low as 100mV, with great accuracy). Theres really not much more I can say about it, other than its great, as you would expect from Fluke!

Great product. Its a Fluke, you may pay a bit more, but you get a bit more! Durable as all hell.

Good quality

This is a huge step up from the $20 multimeter. The auto-off function is handy, and measurements appear to be spot on. I do wish it handled small capacitors (>1uf) better. A great unit!
