My Fluke meter I bought when I first started my electrical apprenticeship 20 years ago needed to be retired. After countless bumps, drops, and beatings on a day-to-day basis, the screen had faded and was missing parts of the numerals. I decided on this meter for the compact size, big screen, and bright backlight. Everything so far performs as expected from a Fluke meter. The leads are a little stiff, I replaced them with better flexible Fluke leads. That is not a deal breaker for me, as I like to keep spare leads around anyhow. I dont believe this meter is made in the USA, if that is important to you, but it is still a quality Fluke meter and backed by their warranty. All in all, I am happy with this meter and would purchase it again.

Glad I made the jump to the Fluke multimeter. Had been trying to get by with a much cheaper one, but this one is easy to use, easy to read, and a great investment.
