Greater than one weekIts a Fluke! Nuff said!

Greater than one weekThis is a huge step up from the $20 multimeter. The auto-off function is handy, and measurements appear to be spot on. I do wish it handled small capacitors (>1uf) better. A great unit!

> 3 dayIve used many flukes, and Ive never been disappointed. This one has a few functions less than the ones that cost hundreds more, but it has everything that I need. Accurate and quick measurements. One thing that I wish it had is sharper leads, they will need to be filed down to work well with breadboard. The only gripe that I have is that the one I ordered lasted about two or three days before it broke, but from my experience this is definitely not the norm. Amazon cross-shipped me a new one and I had it two days later. Ive been using the new one for a few weeks now with no issues. Ive have a drawer filled with all the cheap multimeters Ive gone through over the years, and Im glad I stepped up and bought this. Would and have recommended this to friends.

> 3 dayDue to loose connections between meter and test leads, meter would give inaccurate readings on DC circuits and ohm readings. I returned and replaces with Fluke 87-V . Later learned the 115 is manufactured in China, Figures.

> 3 dayJust bought this after another craftsman meter gave false readings. Great meter at a great price. I used flukes at my job and school (journeyman industrial electrician) and really liked them, but thought they were pretty expensive. This one can do anything you would ever need to do at home and probably more at a great price. Worth every penny!!

> 3 dayAs for True RMS DMMs go, Fluke is simply the best. Ive been using a Fluke 81438 ( basically the older model of the 115) from 2004 to present in the field of mobile install. Its seen the inside of literately thousands of cars/trucks and still holds up like a tank. The only reason I replaced it with the 115 is because the selector on the 81438 finally broke. I was able to fix it and still use it BTW but I figured id go ahead and treat my self to a new DMM. So far the coolest upgrades the 115 has over my last Fluke is the ability to move the selector easily with one hand and the Backlit screen, very handy. Also, you can now change out the battery with out removing the entire casing. Not that changing out the 9v happened that often, a welcome improvement non the less. The 115 feels like it was build with the same quality as my old fluke and have no doubt ill be getting at least another 7+ years out of this one.

> 3 dayI own other Fluke meters. I bought this meter for capacitance testing for light fixtures. I would buy this meter again.

> 3 dayThe meter works as advertised. It arrived within the specified delivery date range, and the order contained what was advertised. One thing, Fluke calls it a compact multimeter. Ive never met a Fluke compact meter, but then again, I didnt expect a compact meter.
