Tap Magic. A must have in ANY well tooled garage. Motor oil wont cut it. Get it? Cut it? If you dont, then stop reading. This review aint for you. Tap Magic is the best cutting fluid out there. Makes taps and dies cut flawlessly and minimizes wear on the tools. If you are using taps and dies- even drill bits on metal and you are not using Tap Magic, I guess you have deep pockets and like to replace good tools. Well, then good for you! Magical. Used this to drill holes in sheet metal. Its like drilling into wood.

It works. It has a smell though so you have to use it outdoors.

The product works very well.....but it gave me contact dermatitis from a short secondary contact interaction. One of the chemical compounds (likely an amine) in this is high reactive and may cause skin inflammation that presents like hives. I am testing the products components for common fat soluble volatile compounds with NMR and GC Mass spec, not to mention bacterial contaminants from the alpha and beta bacterial families. It seems likely that the triethanol amine and also the trade secret amine complex is a candidate for the reactivity on skin. I personally think the manufacturer needs a stronger warning label on the product and/or more comprehensive saftey listings for proper handling, If you use this product I suggest you do NOT use latex glove as it can be porous and may not provide protection. Use nitrile based gloves when using this product. If you have any issue with this product , please apply cortisone to the localized skin affected areas and use appropriate amounts of antihistamine to reduce redness and swelling.

Good fluid, but I wouldnt buy this in this bottle again. It likes to leak in my tool box out of the bottom of the cap and doesnt feed out fluid very fast at times.

A great product that works. It makes all-metal drilling easier.
