As a person who is prone to falling, these walking sticks have given me the confidence and flexibility to get outside and move again. The position or posture that I am in when I use the walking sticks (either one or two) feels more natural again to me. I am standing straighter when I walk and I feel like I have a sense of control back. I would recommend then to anyone along with researching and modifying the Nordic Walking Style to meet your individual needs.

I took these on a fairly rugged 27 mile loop in Arkansas and they worked very well. I felt like I had good support, they didnt try to collapse and the grips were comfortable. They look great too. I felt like they improved my performance on climbs and helped reduce the stress on my descents. I was so glad to have them for the many water crossings mostly though. I hadnt hiked with poles before this and my only complaint with hiking with any poles is that my hands werent free for other useful things while hiking, like snacking.

I rarely leave reviews. I used these trekking sticks once (1.3 mile hike). I am 51 and 115 lbs. Noticed there was a crack near the handle. :(. Expected more from this brand as it wasnt cheap. I missed the return window by a week. Disappointed. Update: Foxelli sent me new trekking poles. Wonderful customer service, thank you.

I did some research on Amazon and found that the reviews for Foxelli Trekking Poles were exceptional. My wife and I have since done some hiking with them up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The poles held up with no issues rock hopping across a large stream, and provided great support throughout our hikes. I like that both adjustable sections are clearly marked with height adjustments. The lock down clamps did not slip, but you do need to check them every time you extend the poles for use. We absolutely LOVE the little running pack that was included as a free gift. It only holds a couple of small items, but when you are just going on short walk, they are perfect.
