Handy tool and it works great!!

PROS: 1. Good quality 2. Works great 3. Good price CONS: 1. The little reference circles on the indicator label are WAY TOO SMALL. It is very difficult to distinguish which circles are white vs. which ones are yellow. There simply is not enough contrast, given the tiny size of the circles. 2. Can be a bit difficult to remove from some receptacles, due to a grip design that is not quite as good as the Ideal tester, which has a deeper contoured grip. I would highly recommend this tester If you have excellent vision and can tell the difference between the white and yellow reference circles on the label, without having to use a flashlight & reading glasses. Otherwise, I would pay a bit more and get the Ideal tester, which has easier to read reference circles, although the text (smaller) is more difficult to read on the Ideal.

Not much to say about a GFCI tester. A little less bulky than some. Solidly built. The neon lights are easy to see from all angles. The test button trips my GFCI. The big win is the price. Some dealers sell the same thing on Amazon for 3x the price. Sometimes without the test button. Every home owner and RV owner should have one in their toolbox. Maybe more than one as they seem to disappear in the night.

Does not have a gfi button on the black version. Otherwise works well. Good buy.

Straight forward to use. Does what its supposed to do.

Had a nagging problem in one of two GFCI circuits in the house tripping on a regular basis for no apparent reason. Used this to identify a reversed hot/ground lead in one of two bathroom GFCIs. Restored the appropriate connections and problem solved. Alternative would have been a $100 visit from our electrician. The device itself appears well made, only issue I have is that the GFI tester is a bit hair trigger, so I inadvertently tripped the circuit once or twice before I got a feel for it. Good buy, great value

Works great!

This works well, I dont have to find a lamp or toaster to find out if an outlet is getting power. I have another that is just two probes but you have to get them in correctly, mess around for a bit. This thing you just plug in and voila! (or not). I am a novice and a bit afraid of electricity. I can install fixtures, repair lamps, hookup outlets and switches, but nothing more complicated than that. I believe this is essential for homeowners. I recommend.
