> 3 dayPerfect. It works perfectly fine. No problems whatsoever. Took it out for a test during night hike with a map and the gps, and it works terrific.

> 3 dayWorks great for tracking your location and even for plotting points and routing you there. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a rechargeable battery to go with the 2AAAs that it runs off of. I’m not complaining at all especially since I used it for almost 16hrs straight before it died. I would highly recommend this tracker for any military and or hiker.

> 3 dayGreat piece of kit. Use it daily. Had a problem at first with it not saving my track. A quick search and problem was solved by connecting it to the phone and deleting the .fit files. Never had a problem since. The display is great for me as I can see it without the need for glasses.

> 3 dayThis review is coming from the viewpoint of a military user. I had a Foretrex 401 for years and the 601 is definitely an upgrade. Much bigger screen, better resolution, the backlight is much improved and easy to read under NVGs. Battery life is excellent.

> 3 dayAs long as you have extra batteries always with you this bulky item could save your life. When your in the boonies, even maps with compasses can confuse the most well trained. This item will get you back to safety. That being said still carry maps and mislspec compasses redundancy means survival!
