It works great. The only issue I have is that it is smaller than the original. I dont know if these come in different sizes and i dont think any size was mentioned in the description. Im 61 and generally stay over 200lbs no matter how much riding I do, just to give anyone looking some relativity.

Its a strap. Cheaper than a new HRM. Not sure what else to say about it -- you know if you need one. Having a spare strap is also a good idea in case the other one is still damp. The battery on the new Garmin straps lasts forever, and the plastic sensor piece washes easily and seems immune to wear. The strap, however, loses elasticity or gets crumpled in places. Easy enough to replace, and the price for a new one is quite reasonable. (Garmin isnt usually known for inexpensive accessories, but this is the exception.)

Life sucks when your strap gives out. My old strap resulted in hear rate readings taken from my ankles. Receiving a new strap is like heaven.

Better than new style strap in my opinion. I do not have problems with this style strap rubbing my skin like the premium strap does. This is the one Ill use for my upcoming full marathon.

As he ran, the giant couldnt believe that his HRM strap was falling down his chest and this angered him greatly. Feeling eXtremely unhappy, the giant searched the land of the Internet to find a replacement. And he did find one, and it was from the kingdom of Amazon. It was also cheaper in price than the one offered by the evil Garmin. When the giant placed the new HRM strap into his HRM he saw that the strap was perfect, and this was good. Suddenly all of the giants runs were less complicated and this made the giant a Happy Giant. THE END

Theres nothing much to say about this, as its just like the original that came with the monitor. I like the fact that its softer than the Polar straps are, as its more comfortable. Granted, these dont seem to hold up as long as the Polar ones do, but they are so reasonably priced that its no big deal, assuming youre paying the roughly $8 that I usually do.

Fits the older Garmin chest straps. Elastic part is sized to adjust from small to extra large. Indistinguishable from the original strap that came with my cyclo computer. Great price: I bought 3 for what Garmin used to charge for one. I think the elastic might last longer with regular washing, so I plan to rotate them about every 5 workouts (bike rides).
