I have 3 of the surge protectors and used it in my previous apt with little issues such as random loss of connections. Ive recently moved to a new build home with fiberoptics and 2/3 of these stopped connecting. One works fine in the living room but the other 2 would not pick up the signal. After resetting it multiple time, they still didnt work. I contacted the company and they couldnt troubleshoot over the phone so they requested I sent a video of the Nth time to reset them to demonstrate that the devices were faulty. I waited for 2 replacements and I received 1 strip a day before they emailed me the tracking information after I waited a month for it. I started the process in July and received a device around August. I emailed them to follow up for the second device... 5 emails and 3 months later, they are still asking for my utmost patience but they still dont have a product out for me. This company has lost me as a customer, I will never purchase their products again. Id suggest that you save yourself the money and grief, go with another product, ANY OTHER PRODUCT... chances are other companies may have more reliable smart surge protectors and much better customer service and not make you wait 3... going on 4 months for a replacement.

This is one of the best smart power strip that I ever bought easy to pair with any alexa device as long you download the geeni app. The oulet can be individually turned on and off via app or alexa by naming each outlet. For the price this is very affordable especially one smart plug already cost at least around $10 for more while this one you already have 6 outlets. Another reason I bought this is it’s compatible with alexa device.

Easy to control, love the scheduling. It is controlling my Christmas lighting and works perfect.

Setup was a breeze, create a Geeni account, add the device to it. I also connected to alexa. I was looking for something to shut off my monitors and computers overnight to save energy as the rates here are skyrocketing. Problem is, I would be sitting at my desk, sometimes on a zoom meeting and the smart plug would decide to power off and then on. Not good as it takes a minute or 2 for everything to come back up again. Double checked there were no schedules run to cause this. Checked for new firmware. This happened at different times too of the day too. After the 4th time it happened while I was presenting remotely, I returned it.

Wifi signal stopped working after a power outage I had this morning. Up to that point, it was fine except for the occasional popping sound like when you turn on or off individual outlets. I couldn’t get it to reset no matter what I did. Followed every step in the book and searched online for help. Garbage. Every other device in my house can take a power blip just fine but not this one after only 6 months? I don’t even want the warranty coverage and should have read the reviews before throwing $20 away on this one. I bought a KASA and will see how that goes.

The Geeni wifi controlled outlet is just about as useless as all the other wifi enabled outlets on this cursed app (Im looking at you Gosund). Dont know why I bothered with this one. Yes, it has 6 individually controllable outlets, but that doesnt matter when it CANT EVEN CONNECT TO THE APP. The first time I plugged it in out of the box it was smooth sailing. Unplugged it and tried again, then all of a sudden it cant connect at all. The app will find the device, but thats as far as itll get. I know its not a problem with my wifi either since it can connect to it. When using the on-board wifi to connect in slow mode, itll connect, but boy good luck staying connected as it IMMEDIATELY boots you off. Also when trying to connect in slow or fast mode the device randomly turns on and off, even switching pairing modes which probably isnt helping. Whyd I unplug it in the first place? Because the schedule system in it is absolutely ABYSSMAL. At first, only one of the outlets was turning off and on as scheduled. The other outlets would turn on as scheduled, but would NEVER turn off as scheduled. Eventually, BOTH wouldnt turn on or off on time. This is why I unplugged it, so I could maybe reset and connect to it. Well, you already know how it went trying to reconnect (surprise! it wouldnt). Stay clear and read the RECENT reviews. All the consistently good reviews were from 2-3 years ago. I cant return it as I threw away the original packaging since I THOUGHT my problems were solved. In fact, save yourself the time and money and just forego any wifi outlets in general. Buy yourself a manual outlet timer if you really need it. This thing is now reduced to being a $30, regular outlet with no wifi controlled capabilities.

Really like the numbered plugs which display which ones they are on the mobile app.. I enjoy the ease of all the electronics plugged in and how alexa turns them on for me. Although I sometimes have issues with the wifi getting signal even though it tells me there is excellent wifi signal
