Worked perfectly with my 10+yr old Genie opener. Very easy to install (less than 5 mins) and worked immediately.

I replaced my 25 year old units without a problem. They worked great!

These were very quick and easy to install! I used them to replace an old Genie set and simply mounted the new brackets on the same screw holes with the old screws, and so there were no alignment problems to deal with (which there might have been if I drilled new holes, as I discovered that there was almost 1/2 of height difference in measuring from the floor-to-sensor on one side of the garage door vs. the other side.) And since there are no polarity requirements for the wiring, hooking up the wires was a snap, too, even though I just connected them in the same relative positions as on the old, rectangular sensors (top to top, bottom to bottom.) (Note: I had to mount the new sensor - only one unit (green light) is a sensor, the other (red light) is the transmitter - back on the side with most sun rather than recommended least sun side, or else I would have had to completely re-wire everything and would need to buy about 60 of new wire; no wire comes with the sensors. But it worked fine even when the sun shone directly on it.)
