Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Womens Razor Blade Refills, 4 Count, Designed for Women with Sensitive Skin

Ive been using Gillette Venus razors for years now and think that they give a close shave on legs and underarms. I just tried the Extra Smooth Sensitive and they also performed very well. I have over age 60, fair skin and dont get razor burn, so maybe Im not the best judge for that problem, but my legs and underarms were smooth and silky afterward, so no complaints from me. Ive used one razor refill three times now and theres no sign of needing to replace the cartridge.

I used to use the mens Gillette Mach3 razors, but they changed something about those refills and they dont work as well as the version from years past. So I changed to their Venus line, and I like these refills.

I normally buy the Gillette Venus Comfort Glide razors - the ones with big fat bars around the blades so you dont have to use shaving cream separately. I do this mostly because I dont like a million products in my shower, and I hate the trouble of getting a foamy lather on my legs just to shave in the shower - I want to lather up and rinse off and be done. I mistakenly thought this was a sensitive version of a comfort glide razor, not just a regular Venus razor, so I was worried my legs and underarms would be thrashed after shaving them with these since I didnt have any shaving cream. I figured we still had wintery weather, so if things go bad, I can wear tights or pants for a few more days and gave it a shot using my regular body wash. It clicked right into my Venus razor that I use for my comfort glide blades, and surprisingly went really well. I only got one knick on a bug bite I hadnt noticed on the back of my leg, but other than that, no noticeable razor burn even shaving with only body wash. It was smooth, easy, and I got a nice close shave. This razor also seems to last longer than my comfort glide blades, so Ive had a few more uses out of a single blade and less waste which has been a bonus. I like these and how much smaller they are than my comfort glides, so theyll be in my travel case more often than not. I still love the familiarity of my comfort glide blades, so Ill probably still use both, but these were much more impressive than I had originally expected.

I love my Gillette Venus Razor – I find it gives me a smoother shave than any other razor I have used – including my electric razor. I use my Gillette Venus Razor all the time so I was thrilled to have a chance to use and review Gillette Extra Smooth Sensitive Women’s Blade 4 Refills – they are just what I need. The refills are very easy to use – just remove and dispose of the old blade, stick the razor handle into the slot of the refill, the refill will immediately attach to the razor handle. These blades make a nice smooth, pain free shaving experience – without any nicks or cuts – I barely know I am using them! I really like Gillette Extra Smooth Sensitive Women’s Blade 4 Refills!

Better than a regular razor.

I like this brand. This razor shaves well and my skin was less irritated when using but the shave wasnt as close as it could be. Mainly I was a little disappointed that for something called Extra Smooth there wasnt a ton of extra moisturizing strips.

These razors are terrible! They aren’t moisturizing at all and gave me razor burn. Definitely not for sensitive skin. I’ve always used Venus razors and decided to give the sensitive ones a try but I’ll stick to the other kinds.

This is a pack of 4 blade refills for a Venus razor. I have very little body hair except my head. I do have sensitive skin. These refills give me a close shave on my legs without irritation. I would not say there is any magic here or that they are better than other brands. I prefer this system to disposable razors. For a light user such as myself, these work well.

I was excited to buy these on Amazon because I have bought them at Target before but don’t live near Target so I rarely go. Unfortunately the blades I received from Amazon are bad quality. I have tiny cuts on my legs every time after shaving with these. They are cheaper but come with the price of bloody painful legs :(
