I use then for applique and they are great. the bend in the handle is just right, and they are very sharp

Scissors seem to be good. But description is faulty and other customers have commented on it. They should either come with the molded case or it should be removed from the description. Some people might want to keep them in it.

Just what you need for those appliqués. Make cutting inside the hoop easier: the duck bill blade lifts the fabric edge and the bend makes trimming much easier. The scissors were delivered on time and received in good condition.

Amazon webpage states Scissors come in a beautiful tin storage case with a burgundy mold fitted to the scissors profile. However, scissors came in cheesy plastic cover.

I question whether or not these are new as described. They came with many scratches.
