These are the first Applique Scissor I have been doing applique using the Brother Dream Maker XE and love how close they cut to the thread without cutting by mistake I definitely recommend it.

I love these scissors. Easy to use, sharp. In fact, I just may be buying other Gingher scissors.

Gingher scissors are very sharp and work well for appliques.It cuts away excess material after you have finished doing your applique.

It is early for me to rate the durability of these scissors, but all of my other Gingher scissors have been perfectly durable. These are well-balanced, attractive, and help me grade seams well without piercing the underlying fabric.

First time using them I accidentally cut my fabric. I was over confident that it would never cut through my fabric if I go quickly but I was wrong. I take my time now with them and get as close as I can. How I cut using these is the appliqué facing me and the duck (big) blade on the back of applique and small part on top and then cut that way. Also its more comfortable to hold of you go up a finger. So instead of holding it like you would regularly hold scissors skip and go to the next finger for a more comfort.
