> 3 dayGreat little cable. Allowed me to permanently power my battery nest camera. If power is lost the nest system will continue to work, everything including the Wi-Fi has battery backup.

> 3 dayYou need a 1/2 hole to pass the camera connector through. Plus you have to be limber enough to contort yourself in your attic to run the cable. Other than that, its a piece of cake. No more climbing on the step stool to pull the camera and recharge the batteries. For the cameras, Im using the magnetic mount on a piece of steel that I siliconed to the aluminum facia.

> 3 dayIf you have the nest battery cam you definitely need this so you dont have to be bringing in your cameras to charge them all the time. We have a lot of activity where my cameras are placed and they tend to die fast. This definitely solved that problem!

Greater than one weekThis does what it is supposed to do, but it is severely overpriced. This is just an extension cord with an end that fits into the bottom of your Nest cam. Hopefully, a generic version will come out that is more reasonably priced.

> 3 dayA little pricey for what it is. That said, theres something to be said for OEM quality - perfect fitment, no worries about damaging something expensive from low quality aftermarket parts. Plenty of length, wire clips to secure the wire is a nice touch, and unlocks some extra functionality of the camera. Overall happy with the purchase.

Greater than one weekUsing a cable makes it record the events better and longer, the recording starts earlier.

> 3 dayI have two cameras and only one cord to charge with. This is why I got the second cord, to charge both at the same time.

> 3 dayI purchased two outdoor weatherproof cords in November 2022 and just got around to install them in April 2023. Drilled our my holes, hid cable, installed my cameras and cord doesn’t charge. I contacted google support and have performed all their tests which come back to the same answer - cords are defective. 30 days after still no replacement cords. Not a ton of money but it’s the principle at this point. Really thinking twice about google products since this is how they support their customer. I have over $1000 in google equipment and could have very easily given that business to their competitors. If I had working cables - the system would be great. Cameras are great and I have to charge them (which also works) but for some reason google taking a hard stand on outdoor plug in cables. Buyer beware - good product if it works- if not get ready for terrible customer service.
