> 3 dayI got new hearing aids whose controlling app required a version of Android newer than Oreo on my favored but ancient LG V20. So I wanted a new phone that would support the app plus 5G plus a 3.5mm jack plus did not cost an arm and a leg. the 4a 5G fit the bill and I have been very happy with it. I had live translate on my old phone that let me hear what the tour leader was saying while on the bus and it is still there. But in addition there is live captioning that translates audiobooks, videos, calls etc in real time. I also prefer the fingerprint reader because I have doubts that face-recognition would would with covid masks. The battery is a little under-powered (I had a 10,000 mah monster for the V20 which had easily replaceable batteries) but it picks up quite a bit of charge in a few minutes. So I am very happy with this baby.

> 3 dayNow I know why these were on sale here. Does not work on Verizon 5G. Might not work on other 5G networks also ? Its a nice phone, but I bought it to use on Verizons 5G network. Now the sales are over and Im kinda stuck with it unless I want to cough up more $$ to get one that works on 5G. Should have gotten the phone at the Verizon store while they were marked down. Stupid me...... I had tech service try to figure it out a couple of times. Been in the store also. Just had them install another 5G sim card in the phone. Still doesnt work on 5G. UPDATE Just left the verizon store again with a new sim card. I get some 5G in spots now. My buddies Samsung phone is 5G almost all of the time. Mine isnt most of the time and were in the same place. Ive also been getting weaker signals and more dropped calls than my Pixel 2XL that i just retired. This is the first and only time i buy a phone off of a website. I would consider this phone a factory second. If my 2 XL wasnt losing battery capacity, id send the 4A 5G back for a refund.

Greater than one weekI was very leary on purchasing a phone through here, we have always went to the cell phone store, but I will definitely buy through here again! This was just like the one that we bought from the store. Saved us some money from buying through here and we didnt have to be at the store for a few hours getting a new phone. switching all the info to the new one was really easy. I will probably be buying off here for now on. Highly recommend, just as described, speedy delivery.

Greater than one weekcaveat: I only buy unlocked phones. You dont have to go to a store to setup the phone. Its not that hard to move a SIM card. Starting it the first time took some time, but a lot of that was downloading apps and sync. There was a step where I connected my old phone to transfer everything I wanted over. The phone works great. The screen is beautiful and bright. Havent really tried out the camera much, yet. A nice thing about it being from Google is the latest version of Android will always be available.

> 3 dayI love the Pixel phones. Had a 3a. This is a real upgrade expesially battery wise. I am not into putting $1000.00 dollars in a phone I am going to replace in a year or 2. These phones are great for price. Just know 5g phones are an extra monthly payment expense too. Also if you want a white case for it or any cases that are slim and good you will be on a great search. I do not know why that is. I still highly recommend.

> 3 dayI upgrade from a Samsung S6, so this was a major upgrade. Battery life is great. I can make it through a whole day without needing a charge, which is much different than my old phone. Charger quickly too. Picture wise its a big upgrade to, night and dark photos are really great and daylight or highlight photos have a level of clarity and depth that I didnt expect. Although Im certainly no photo expert.. I would say the photo quality particularly the night time photos are a major step up if ur phone is from a few years ago or simply a cheaper model. Coming from a Samsung, the absence of bloatware was a major attraction to this phone. My only issue was lack of a back button which is easily fixable in the seeing menu under accessibility. Processor and speed wise.. Im to understand this isnt the latest processor but I dont really game so its plenty responsive to me. This is a usb c charger.. I like the larger charger port as it seems more substantial, however didnt like having to buy a bunch of new cords to replace the micro usb. Lack of wireless charger (I believe, never tried it myself) is a bit of a bummer. Price wise.. Im satisfied and although Ive never used one.. its hard to imagine justifying paying double or more of the price of this phone for the latest and greatest model.

> 3 dayThe clean Pixel look and feel at 5G on Metro combined with a earphone jack is a great buy! The stereo is better than my Pixel 2 or ZTE ZMAX ever was and the battery Life is nearly 2 days (YMMV). Put it in a nice case and the LK glass screen protector to keep it pristine during my skiing and hiking (I hope). Almost the same size as my Pixel 2 but almost a full inch bigger screen with twice times the storage.
