> 3 dayI used this to repair a wooden door damaged by a dog. (The joys of being a landlord.). I applied it first with a metal putty knife and found that I was happier with applying with a plastic spatula. This material dries quite quickly, which was a nice benefit. It sanded well. Applying primer and paint were no problem. I would buy it again!

Greater than one weekI didn’t like it much, it doesn’t really dry properly. After a while it’s like sand and it can be easily removed.

> 3 dayThis filler is pretty good, gorilla makes really good products so I wasn’t surprised. The texture of the filler looks and feels like paste with sand in it. It’s pretty easy to spread but you do need a plastic spreader spatula to add some good pressure for filling holes. Drying time is about a day so you can take your time spreading and easily clean up unwanted areas. After a day of drying sanding is super easy, I used 80 then 320 grit and it was super easy to sand without clogging the sand paper not even the 320 grit. Overall it’s a nice filler, i do like the other pink filler that changes color after it dries but if you have no problem waiting a full day then this is pretty good. The picture I included still has holes but because I didn’t do it correctly, it was just to test the sanding properties of it before I did it correctly for paint. I have to add that I had to order a replacement because the first tub arrived damaged which caused half the product to become dry, it came in an envelope type of packaging. The second one did arrive perfectly but was still sent in the wrong type of packaging.

Greater than one weekMy dog chewed 2 of my windows and I’m not in a position to completely replace windows so I gave this a try. I didn’t expect it to look flawless but it definitely worked better than I expected. It’s a little difficult to spread because it’s consistently is really loose. I wasn’t able to do the curved part due to this but I basically used it to rebuild a piece of one of the windows. I lightly sanded and painted once it had dried (and against the directions, I did this all in one day). I’m a 30 yr old female without any experience and was able to use this easily. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayI was working outside in high temps and noticed that much was wasted as I had to scrape off the dried surface skin at each opening. Other than that, it seems to work ok. Sands down nicely when dry.

Greater than one weekI had some rotten wood to fill on an outside window sill. I was not impressed with some other products I tried, so I decided to use this product based on my previous experiences with Gorilla products. I found the product very hard to spread, mostly due to the foamy nature of the product itself. After some experimenting I found I could improve spreadability by adding some water to the product and mixing thoroughly. This greatly improved the way the product spread. I would recommend this with the suggestion that you also thin the product before using.

Greater than one weekI had tried many wood fillers for exterior rotting wood, cracks on decking or holes drilled by insects. This Filler amazed me. Easy to apply yet dries in full strength. Most impressive was it did not matter the size of the crack or depth - no need to apply multiple times for lesser products! It works the first time you smooth it on or fill cracks. Sands Easily to Fine Finish and Paints Adhere well. Now would buy nothing else. You will be glad to have this Gorilla Wood Filler in your cabinet.

> 3 dayThus product has grit in it, like sand, it shrinks when drying. So filling holes in drawer fronts was a lot if extra work. Had to fill 2x and and each time. Inconsistent, air holes and shrinkage. I had 8 drawers to fill holes on and it took me much longer because of the product. I still didn’t end up with a smooth defect free finish. I was under time crunch, and this became a frustrating issue. I ordered powdered wood fill; So I can control consistency and get a smooth finish. I also tried wood putty powder on next project and seemed to act like drywall mud, did end up building it up and was able to sand perfectly even. Probably needed to be primed, even with chalk paint. Didnt crack or shrink, though, as was promised.

Greater than one weekThis filler works great. I needed to fill in a few spots on my basement stairs and this worked great. It sands off well and I was able to paint over it with no problem. This is the first time I’ve ever used a wood filler so I can’t compare it to other brands, but considering it was my first time and all went well, it must be good stuff.

> 3 dayI ordered this and it arrived very late after I was informed it was lost by carrier. I have no way to advise Amazon I accepted it. Upon opening, I noticed the top had long crack that allowed air inside, forming a dry crust on filler. I scraped it off and after doing so, realized I could not return it. I made use of some filler and repaired the cracked top. I will buy again, but not online. Shipping delays caused a week delay in completion of project.
