> 3 dayi found this is a tad too thick and being too thick it had a problem spreading and adhering to a surface which was wood. i usually have good luck with gorilla products. maybe i got a tub that was sitting in inventory for a while? dont know. i dont have the time or luxury to be returning things so, what i had to do with this was put a wad of this in a small dish or cup and added a few drops of water and it made quite the difference. if you attempt to try this, when i say drops, i mean drops. and mix it well - really well. yea, it will take a little longer to harden.

> 3 dayIve used a lot of wood fillers over the years, and the usual frustrations for me were that I couldnt easily use them to fill deeper holes and indentations except by time-consuming, repeated applications of thin layers. And, thereafter, the cured filler would absorb moisture from primers or paints, causing the sanded-smooth surface to swell up and bulge out slightly. Happily, neither of those issues was a problem with this filler. I used it to fill knot holes in the planks on my old outdoor deck. I found that the deeper holes could be filled with just two (thick) applications, usually 4 hours apart so long as it was warm and dry out. Then, once sanded, Gorillas formulation didnt absorb moisture but remained exactly as I sanded it to be. I ended up needing two tubs, buying the second after how happy I was with the first. This is a new generation of wood filler and a welcome one at that!

> 3 dayI was working outside in high temps and noticed that much was wasted as I had to scrape off the dried surface skin at each opening. Other than that, it seems to work ok. Sands down nicely when dry.

> 3 dayI like it hardens and is ready to sand and paint as the specs state. Really hard once it dryes out. But you have to knead it first. I read the instructions but I couldnt believe it was necessary. Well...it was. Thats why I dropped a ⭐. Other similar products dont need that. All in all I recommend. Update: Keep in mind it has a sandy texture, thicker than other similar products. Dryer too and you need to knead it. See the instructional video.

Greater than one weekI had some rotten wood to fill on an outside window sill. I was not impressed with some other products I tried, so I decided to use this product based on my previous experiences with Gorilla products. I found the product very hard to spread, mostly due to the foamy nature of the product itself. After some experimenting I found I could improve spreadability by adding some water to the product and mixing thoroughly. This greatly improved the way the product spread. I would recommend this with the suggestion that you also thin the product before using.

Greater than one weekI purchased the Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler, 16 Ounce Tub and have not yet had the chance to use it, but based on its appearance and the product description, I believe it will work well. The filler is a creamy consistency and is easy to spread, which makes it perfect for filling in gaps and cracks in wood surfaces. The 16 ounce tub is a good size and will last me a while. I also appreciate that it can be sanded, painted, and stained over once it has dried. Overall, I am confident that this wood filler will be a great addition to my toolkit and I look forward to using it on my next project.
