Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler, 16 Ounce Tub, Natural (Pack of 1)

> 3 dayIve used a lot of wood fillers over the years, and the usual frustrations for me were that I couldnt easily use them to fill deeper holes and indentations except by time-consuming, repeated applications of thin layers. And, thereafter, the cured filler would absorb moisture from primers or paints, causing the sanded-smooth surface to swell up and bulge out slightly. Happily, neither of those issues was a problem with this filler. I used it to fill knot holes in the planks on my old outdoor deck. I found that the deeper holes could be filled with just two (thick) applications, usually 4 hours apart so long as it was warm and dry out. Then, once sanded, Gorillas formulation didnt absorb moisture but remained exactly as I sanded it to be. I ended up needing two tubs, buying the second after how happy I was with the first. This is a new generation of wood filler and a welcome one at that!

Greater than one weekI ordered this and it arrived very late after I was informed it was lost by carrier. I have no way to advise Amazon I accepted it. Upon opening, I noticed the top had long crack that allowed air inside, forming a dry crust on filler. I scraped it off and after doing so, realized I could not return it. I made use of some filler and repaired the cracked top. I will buy again, but not online. Shipping delays caused a week delay in completion of project.

Greater than one weekI would rather use the ACE wood filler, its cheaper spreads much better and is less dry.

> 3 dayThis filler works great. I needed to fill in a few spots on my basement stairs and this worked great. It sands off well and I was able to paint over it with no problem. This is the first time I’ve ever used a wood filler so I can’t compare it to other brands, but considering it was my first time and all went well, it must be good stuff.

> 3 dayI already knew that gorilla glue will not hold, gorilla tape will not stick, and now I know that gorilla wood filler will not fill in cracks or holes in wood. I kneaded the dough just like the instructions said and it didnt do a thing to help. it just balled up and flaked out. The only thing that keep gorilla products in business is there excessive advertising and false hype. I saw the creator of gorilla products on shark tank the other night bragging about developing the gorilla brand and then selling it. I hope he got a good laugh out of it as well as millions of dollars. He was on the show selling another bill of goods to the sharks and after he made them cry from a lamb story about developing this new product to support his 40 something rich son after he passed on. His son had just quit his job as as executive engineer for a major company. I guess it takes a con to con a bunch of cons.

> 3 dayThe island in our kitchen needed a little TLC; the wood on the sides was somewhat warped, and we need to install some molding on the floors. There were large crevices from the warped wood. I used the GORILLA ALL PURPOSE WOOD FILLER to fill in the large crevices as well as some of the small cracks. It was easy to spread and shape. Once it dried, I painted with the same color as the wood on my kitchen island. It looks great!

> 3 dayi found this is a tad too thick and being too thick it had a problem spreading and adhering to a surface which was wood. i usually have good luck with gorilla products. maybe i got a tub that was sitting in inventory for a while? dont know. i dont have the time or luxury to be returning things so, what i had to do with this was put a wad of this in a small dish or cup and added a few drops of water and it made quite the difference. if you attempt to try this, when i say drops, i mean drops. and mix it well - really well. yea, it will take a little longer to harden.

Greater than one weekThe color wasnt what I expected so I returned it. Im sure it would have worked well, it just didnt match out wood....too light.
