> 3 daySuper sticky, scissors used required cleaning afterward. Followed dirxns and rounded the corners of each piece, and covered both sides of the tear as much as i could with the cover already installed. Looks like black duct tape but the pool cover gets leaves all over it anyway, so no big deal. I’ve stepped on it myself and not felt it give; I weigh 145 with a winter coat on. 50lb dog has not fallen through. Perfect.

Greater than one weekI used this tape to repair the bed cover of my truck. I tried to do the repair with other tape but they all failed including flexi tape. Take a little care for a better chance at success. I first brought the cover inside to be in a warm dry place. I cleaned the area with alcohol. I waited a day to let the cover reach room temperature. The tape should also be at the same temperature. I cut a length of tape and rounded the corners. Then I carefully applied the tape. I left the taped cover in the warm space for a couple of days to let the adhesive cure and bond.

> 3 dayImagine you are camping. The fireplace is crackling, and you are toasty warm inside your camper while it is 40 degrees outside and mist / raining sideways outside because the wind is howling. Now imagine your son walks into the main area of your 5-er and states: Ha, I bet someone in the campground has a leak and it is raining in on them right now. Fast forward 15 minutes and we realize that one of our rooftop fan lids shattered when we were pulling into the campground because it is now raining into our camper. My son and I grabbed the Gorilla tape and climbed onto the roof to make the repairs. Had to use a sharp knife to cut the tape, but we were ablr to fix the shattered lid in the rain, it was amazing. Tape held so well, it made replacing the lid difficult when we got home from our trip.

> 3 dayI had a 1.5 - 3 hole in the main stage where the fast rubber blade grabs the snow and throws it out the chute. The hole let snow be thrown into the engine. IT LASTED THROUGH A HEAVY SPRING WET SNOW: NO EDGE LIFT! I used 300 grit sandpaper on the plastic, washed/rubbed the area with rubbing alcohol. Heated the plastic (not hot) with a heat gun Applied a piece of the tape, heated, pressed, heated, pressed about 3 times. Never getting it too hot. After a day of curing (24 hours) I brought the blower to the cold garage

> 3 dayThis tape is insanely sticky!! I have a mid 90s truck with some rust in extremely common areas. The truck is primarily used to transport stuff to the dump or when blizzards hit, so I have little desire to do a lot of rust mitigation. But, if I can limit the rate of rust, Im all for it. After cleaning the areas I was applying tape to, I then took a propane torch and heated the metal a bit. I then took off measures pieces of the tape and stuck them on the clean warm metal. I then gave them a quick blast to really heat the adhesive up before pressing it onto the permanent position. The tape will not move. It is absolutely sealed around the edges and I have no doubt it will provide some protection to my old truck. If you are having problems sticking this tape, I would stand back and really try to evaluate why. Have you removed the liner that keeps it from sticking to itself on the roll? Is the part it question freezing cold or dirty? The reviews here stating that the tape just falls off are almost unbelievable honestly. This stuff is incredible.

> 3 dayOkay, so this is Gorilla Tape. Gorilla tape works, we all know this. But what about underwater? So my brand spanking new vinyl liner pool decides to spring not one, not two, but three leaks on its first fill up. 3000 gallons of water to fill this thing up, I wasnt going to empty it! I live in a desert, I felt guilty enough filling it up, emptying it out to fix a hole and then refilling, no way. So I researched a ton of different patches and came across this product here on Amazon. The reviews were weird. Yes, I read them just like you are doing now. Some say it didnt stick at all? Another says it comes off the roll really loose. Here is the scoop - there is an error on the directions for this tape. So, lets do two things here together - One, know you are not wasting your time, get this product. Right now, dont waste time! Two, read below on a couple of important but easy steps on using it. 1) The directions tell you to cut off the piece you want and then round the corners. Here is something important: Do NOT - guys, read that again - do NOT - use your wifes good scissors or the ones in your knife rack. Dont do it guys. The residue left behind was like crazy glue. It sticks! Your best bet is using a decent pair of scissors and making your cuts in one smooth motion. This will prevent goo from getting on your scissors. 2) AFTER cutting, get to where you need to place the tape and then REMOVE the transparent liner over the sticky part of the tape. The directions never tell you to remove this liner! Well, to those people with the negative reviews, they didnt remove the liner. Once you remove it, watch out - it is sticky as can be! Try not to touch the sticky part!! We took the tape, sticky exposed, went underwater, and stuck that bad boy right where the pool was leaking. Pressed all the air out, pressed down on the edges, then just stood on it for a few minutes. Did this for all three holes and not one has leaked again. Okay, so it isnt as pretty as some of the other patches, it is a big black piece of tape. But it works and works fast and it is easy. Buy with confidence.
