I had a 1.5 - 3 hole in the main stage where the fast rubber blade grabs the snow and throws it out the chute. The hole let snow be thrown into the engine. IT LASTED THROUGH A HEAVY SPRING WET SNOW: NO EDGE LIFT! I used 300 grit sandpaper on the plastic, washed/rubbed the area with rubbing alcohol. Heated the plastic (not hot) with a heat gun Applied a piece of the tape, heated, pressed, heated, pressed about 3 times. Never getting it too hot. After a day of curing (24 hours) I brought the blower to the cold garage

Had couple couple holes in my pond liner and very happy with the product so far. Most important as it was mentioned in other reviews. The grey side is the sticky part and has a clear lining and cannot be peeled by your finger and will need a knife with a sharp point to lift the clear part. Once I peel a very small portion, I would recommend laying it to the liner and then press and peel this way it doesnt bubble under it. If you peel the entire piece and misplace it in any way, you will not be able to remove it! Again it’s extremely sticky, works great and highly recommend it! Good Luck!

Not as strong as they advertise and it’s possible you’ll need layers of this tape, depending on your application. Not worth it

This tape is insanely sticky!! I have a mid 90s truck with some rust in extremely common areas. The truck is primarily used to transport stuff to the dump or when blizzards hit, so I have little desire to do a lot of rust mitigation. But, if I can limit the rate of rust, Im all for it. After cleaning the areas I was applying tape to, I then took a propane torch and heated the metal a bit. I then took off measures pieces of the tape and stuck them on the clean warm metal. I then gave them a quick blast to really heat the adhesive up before pressing it onto the permanent position. The tape will not move. It is absolutely sealed around the edges and I have no doubt it will provide some protection to my old truck. If you are having problems sticking this tape, I would stand back and really try to evaluate why. Have you removed the liner that keeps it from sticking to itself on the roll? Is the part it question freezing cold or dirty? The reviews here stating that the tape just falls off are almost unbelievable honestly. This stuff is incredible.

This product is excellent. Not recommended if you dont use in a permanent location. Not easily removed, thats why I love it!

Easy to use and cheaper than the infomercial tape.

    Greater than one week

I recently lowered the suspension on my Jetta and within hours had run into a slab of concrete while parking the car; doing awful damage to my skid plate (recently replaced because of another accident). It was hanging low and dragging on the ground. Quite annoying. I wound up finding this on Amazon and thought Id give it a try. I was able to put it back together is short order with this tape. Its held up for 3 months already and Im quite impressed. It even filled gaps where the plastic had been torn away. I was expecting that it might harden up after a while, not sure where I got that idea, but it doesnt. It stays flexible and sticky. Its a great product for temporary fixes and even semi-long terms; depending on the application. Great for fixing seems, connecting parts and filling holes. Its a little tricky, taking the plastic film off and, once off, it will stick to anything, so be careful with it. I cant imagine removing it, ever; maybe with some crazy toxic solvent.
