It is the same one my kid uses in football practice. Great quality. I expect to be able to use it for years to come to protect myself from my kid. In the off-season I plan to put in between me and my wife while we sleep. No more cuddling.

Very much adult size pad. We use it to practice making layups in basketball with contact. Very easy to hold and thus far holds up well.

Good price, and free Prime shipping make this shield even better. The padding material absorbs kicks pretty good. 5 handles make it good for about any application. 5 thickness. There are better shields on the market, but at a much higher price. This one is good enough for advanced students; if you have extreme, professional-style kickers, better get a much thicker shield.
