I use these every day. I feel like the app could be a bit more user friendly, but the fact I can control them from my phone is very convenient for what I use them for

I was wanting just a easy install with simple features on the app. It feels like extra steps are required. It’s easy to turn off and on but setting up a repeating time isn’t as simple as setting an alarm on your phone. It’s repeating wake up time is detailed, no doubt, that’s what I mean by feels like extra steps are needed. Also adds and a community feature. I should’ve done my homework but I just needed as simple as off and on with an alarm. There’s just a lot of extra stuff.

These plug work wonderfully. I have a few of a different brand and decided to try the Govee brand. Govee seems to make some really cool stuff and their products are rating highly, and these plugs are no different. Smart plugs are pretty much all the same. Its the app that sets one apart from another and the Govee app is spectacular. It makes the installation and maintenance of the devices so freaking easy. I use the app once a day at least to turn on and off certain things and I love it. Setting up timers is super simple and it seemed to be discovered by my Amazon Echo without me doing anything in the Alexa app. Works great in my Alexa routines.

I bought 4 of these Govee smart plugs to control my wifes Christmas trees. They turn on and off the trees all over the house. I think she giggles with delight every time she says Alexa, turn on Christmas. Shes a big kid when it comes to Christmas. These smart plugs simply turn on and off the trees, no more, no less. They were easy to set up. You need the Govee app on your phone to get them connected to wifi. Then create a routine for Alexa to turn on and turn off the plugs. Enjoy your new smart plugs!

I ended up buying 8 of them as I just kept finding new uses. I integrated them easily with Google Home. I cant comment on how they work with Alexa as I dont use it. You can turn them on and off manually or use automatic timers built into the Govee app or they can be integrated them into Google Home and use the Home routines to do the same thing. They require a 2.4Ghz wifi signal. My wireless router puts out both 2.4 and 5, so I didnt have a problem. If your router only puts out 5Ghz then they wont work.

Have an issue where plugs go offline, pretty sure user error. Easy to set up and program.

I use these for light timers for plants, and of course that has to be very reliable. So far these have never missed a beat, I can check my temperature data from my sensors and tell if a light failed while I was away, and I never see any gaps. The scheduling feature is very convenient, and an integrates very easily into the Govee app which also integrates well into Google Home

Thus far, these smart plugs have been a reliable solution for remote control and outlet timing. The WiFi and Bluetooth have proven to offer solid performance. The phone app is better than most, and hasnt crashed, hung up or done other unexpected things. Device setup worked remarkably smoothly. The UI is okay, but could use a little bit of polishing to make it better and easier to navigate. One nice feature is while these plugs are meant to be controlled over a WiFi connection, they will seamlessly switch over to Bluetooth control if your phone is able to connect to them. If your WiFi or phone data connection happens to be down, you can still control them if you are within Bluetooth range. If you need to remotely control an outlet, or are just looking for a higher-tech wall timer, these are certainly worth consideration.
