The screws they provide to assemble the grill arent long enough to reach the threads on the slots. I cant even assemble it. Its easier to just make a trip to the hardware store rather than return it, but come on...

This fit my speaker well and seems very strong (I can lift the entire enclosure by the bars so I trust it will take some abuse without failing), however, the painted finish was damaged on one side. My second gripe is that it shipped with drywall screws rather than appropriate button-head screws. I tossed them and used some black barrel head screws I already had, but Im a machinist and most people dont keep the variety of fasteners on hand like me so you may want to plan ahead if you like things done exactly right.

I was really hoping to like this grill, because I have an older version of this GS grill on my previous 12” subs that worked great, but upon receiving this 10” grill, I immediately placed it over my Sundown SA10 Classic sub, which is mounted in a custom box, and this grill was too large!! It was too large by a good 1”-1.5” (see pic). I’m not sure if the Sundown SA10 Classic sub has that much of a diameter different than most other brands of subs, but I thought this was unordinary considering the 12” GS grills I bought for my Sony GS subs fit perfectly with no gaps.

I bought these for my two ddx-12s. They fit perfectly in every way. I built my box with flush mounts for the speakers, so theres no way itll rub from excursion. If you have problems with that you could probably get some spacers and longer screws for it. They seem very sturdy. No problems with the screws that were included. They went into the mdf just fine. I love these grills!

I bought two of these to go over my two 10 inch subs that I have in a custom box for my 350z. They will not fit over though because the subs are too close together. It couldve been my fault because I misread the measurements of the product but make sure you check before you buy. On another note, these things are good quality. Even though they wouldnt fit, I could feel how strong and sturdy they are and they look nice and clean. If you know they will fit for sure, then I would definitely go with these to protect your subs. You could go for some cheaper ones but you know what they say, you get what you pay for and you definitely get good quality for what youre paying for here.
