8 grill accually 1 5/8 tall not 1 1/16. Good news! I figured I would have to space it. 5 star if they could read a tape.

So it came to me bent. I was able to bend it back and its going underneath my rear seat so it wont be seen anyways.

I custom made my own sub for Jeep Grand Cherokee and used this grill to protect the speaker on the cargo area. Perfect for and perfect application, Awesome product

It works no missing screws.

This mounted perfectly over my 8” Planet Audio subwoofer while maintaining its factory trim ring. About a 1/4” clearance on either side of the trim ring is just perfect. The woofer is clear to move freely. Cover looks great. This is in a freshwater marine application. Not too concerned about rust.

Fit perfectly over my Sundown 8 sub. I was concerned about clearance but there is no need to worry.

It only covers like half the sub. Better than nothing but still leaves it vulnerable.

Product works perfectly. It was easy to assemble, simply screw on the cross members, then screw the whole grille onto your subwoofer housing. The metal of the grille bars is sturdy and has little flex, assuring good protection. Overall great product that exceeded expectations!
