I took this mug to an overnight snow camp and it was perfect. Very light, leak proof and it kept my hot coco hot for a long time. I will be taking this mug with me to every hiking/camping trip I go now. Ps. I also love the color and the handle.

This is a great luxury item for ultra light backpacking, particularly for a coffee drinker like me. The manufacturer has a couple brewing solutions that pair with it too. Very light weight and keeps stuff warm. Word of caution. This is not your old Sierra cup, you can’t hang outside your pack as insert cup will fall off. My insert cup, ironically, is now somewhere in Sierra. No matter, it was replaced. Now I have a rubber band between the insert and the liner.

Wife and I love them on backpacking trips. I bought two. Super lightweight, keeps coffee warm on crisp mornings and whiskey cool in the evening.

nice weight and love the sip / no spill lid. Have not used yet, will likely cut off the handle to save weight- love the price. Will use for ultralight backpacking trips :0

I purchased this mug for a camping trip with my school...Not sure I understood exactly what I was getting...never got used to the soft handle and did not keep my coffee heated for long. Another teacher commented on it... So I gifted to her and she was thrilled!
