> 3 dayOur neighbors have a termite infestation somewhere in their yard and they have unfortunately climbed the outside of my room and burrowed holes in the window sill. Ive been using this on the inside and outside (on top of other treatments) and they havent come back since! The duster squeezer is also really helpful. Wear gloves with this!!

> 3 dayPros: DUSTER (this thing is the best and is worth getting this brand over others that dont provide one), got rid of all my bugs Cons: None I got this as I was having a roach problem (first-floor apartment in Florida) despite keeping an other wise very clean house. If I turned on the lights at 2 AM, I could sometimes see one or two on my countertops. Otherwise, I would just see their droppings and know they had been there. It was gross. And it was primarily in my kitchen (especially at the sink and dishwasher). I also had a fair amount of small weevils. They never got into any food, but at my peak, I was finding 5-10 per day on the walls or baseboards of my apartment wandering around. I have a dog and the problem was in my kitchen and on my countertops. I chose this product because its safe for everyone involved (except those pesky bugs!) and would be okay if some residue got into either my dogs food or my food. Plus I wanted to avoid chemicals in case my dog decided to go sniffing or lick the floor. I decided that I would strike a hard and fast first blow in this war on bugs. I generously lined my doors and window sill in case that was how they were getting in. I also had an outdoor closet that I know they were running through so that got a very heavy dose along the entire floor. Some advice says not to do more than a dusting because the bugs will just stay away instead of getting killed. Living in an apartment, Im not going to try to kill all the bugs that other residents might be bringing in. I just want them to stay away from me, so I was fine with a heavy coat. I also took the duster and hit everywhere that I had seen a roach. It was great for blasting all the back behind the dishwasher/oven/refrigerator as I couldnt pull those items out to get behind them. The duster can shoot several feet if needed. I also gave a nice dusting under the sink and in certain corners of the cabinetry that were walled off but could easily be accessed by bugs (I was pretty sure thats where they were coming from anyway). The duster is key. It allows you to get to places where the bugs can get but you cant. The first couple days, I found a few dead weevils (I saw many more of these so this was to be expected). It has been two weeks and no roach sightings or droppings. I could barely go a week without seeing at least one little dropping on my countertops. Its a miracle.

> 3 dayI was excited to give this a whirl. Had read about D.E. for a while and decided to do it. This product is awesome. The duster that comes with it is quite large. Larger than I had envisioned, I suppose. Every spring I battle ants in my kitchen and bathroom directly above it. I dusted the cracks and where I knew they went and within 12 hours I noticed none, where I had 30 to 40 before. Did not last forever. After about a month I noticed a few scouts in both places today and will redust...perhaps monthly in summer. Good quality, nice duster, fast delivery.

> 3 dayThis stuff is great for creepy crawling critters in my basement and great for flea infestations too. Make sure to buy the FOOD GRADE diatomacious earth. I havent used it yet for anything in the eating or digesting arena yet, but i will check that purpose out soon. Amazing how many things to use it for and safe for pets as long as you remove them from the area until the powder dust settles. Make sure you put on goggles and mask during application to protect your lungs and eyes too! Great stuff but a little tricky to use the powder duster canister tool that is included. Nevertheless, the results are excellent.... I applied mine indoors for flea infest and i did my application as follows and i am not saying my way is best but it worked for me. STEP#1 is to vac up the entire house or area you want to treat and also include bedding/furniture. WHEN DONE WITH VAC THROW CONTENTS OF VAC INTO A SEPARATE BAG AND TIE OFF AND IMMEDIATELY TOSS INTO OUTDOOR TRASH SEVERAL FEET AWAY FROM YOUR HOUSE....STEP#2 machine wash on HOT any towels or clothing laying around. STEP#3..put pets and other humans in a different room and dont put fan or ac/heat on during application. Once powder dust settles then turn back on. Use included powder duster tool (to create a thick fog like cloud plume consistancy with powder( vs. just shaking the powder onto the floor or carpet.) continue to disperse powder to areas begin top to bottom as you walk backwards out of each room. The duster tool lets fog get inbetween and under places the vac just cant reach. Step#4...Leave powder for 2weeks and vac up areas you can reach and repeat application....fleas lay eggs every 14 days and get your animals on a med that kills adult fleas, eggs, pupae, and larvae. Any area that That you treat with the diatomacious powder must stay dry. If it gets wet it will not kill fleas or other insects. Make sure to use mask and eye protect during application until it settles. GOOD LUCK IT WORKED FOR ME!

> 3 dayI really like DE and I use it multiple places. I mix it into my chicken feed to prevent and kills worms in my chickens. I sprinkle it in the garden both at ground level as well as on the leaves and veggies. I also use it on my fruit trees. It really works on the insects we get here at my farm. I love that this one comes with a device to squirt/spray/distribute the powder on these various places. Its a little messy to fill but it helps to powder a chicken tail that has nits (as she runs away from you!)

> 3 dayA doctor on YouTube spoke about the benefits of diatomaceous earth as far as getting rid of parasites and dealing with yeast/candida overgrowth. I began taking it with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in water every morning. After several days all of a sudden my body began a purge plus the insane itching I had from the candida stopped. I think my body was purging the garbage out of it. I stopped taking the earth for a few days but went back on it as I know there is some residual yeast or fungal growth lingering. But it is tasteless and harmless. Just do NOT inhale it. BE WARNED: If you experience really bad cramping stop taking it. I had this happen to me twice and i had diarrhea for three days the first time. The second time I tried it after being off of it for a few days, the cramps were really bad and I stopped taking it. Just be careful and monitor your bodys reaction. It can help you as it has me.

> 3 dayI have used DE for years and started when I raised goats. I needed something that would be friendly for animals but take care of insects. I no longer raise goats but I always use this all over my yard for insects because I have a dog and I don’t like pesticides. Their story is amazing and I will continue to buy Harris. I am very pleased and so glad they make this product. Thanks!

> 3 dayThis product effectively eliminated ants that had invaded my house. The key is to apply this LIGHTLY. An applicator is included to gently puff this powder where you need it. It should look like a fine smoke coming out. After a few days the ants were gone. Because it is food grade I’m not worried about poisoning pets or family members.
