Homydom Wood Organizer and Lumber Storage Metal Rack with 3-Level Wall Mount, 2 Pack

Greater than one weekFirst off, I was pleasantly surprised that you get TWO pairs of racks, not just one. When it said 2 pack, I thought it just meant a pair of them. Installing them was pretty simple, its just two screws per vertical piece, and then you add the horizontal arms with a steel pin and secure it with a a cotter pin. Everything is thick metal, and it doesnt look cheap or flimsy. But the proof is in the performance, and it is performing beautifully. I immediately put 150 board-feet of white oak and pine, which weighs approximately 600 lbs, and it held up perfectly (see picture). These will probably handle as much wood as you can stack in them. Overall, its a great product. I cant find any fault with it. 10/10, Ill definitely be getting another when I get a bigger space.

> 3 daySimple and easy install. Very strong and sturdy. Not a single issue. The orange support legs are 3 longer than a set I bought years ago and are on another wall in my shop. I would buy these again.

14-04-2025Only had these maybe a couple of months but they holding up a lot of lumber. As others have mentioned, use heavier lag screws; not the screws included with these

> 3 dayI didnt bother using the supplied screws and instead used my own high quality lag bolts to screw these into the framing. Ill probably buy a second set when I need some more storage!

Greater than one weekAs mentioned in many of the comments, you should buy lag bolts so that the racks securely hold the weight these racks can hold. I bought 3 5/16 lag bolts for 52 cents each at Ace Hardware. Get 4 lag bolts per pack (e.g. I bought 8 for my 2 pack). Installation Notes 1. I found studs approximately 48 inches apart. 2. Mark horizontal line (6 ft level) where you want the bottom of the supports to be. 3. Mark vertical line (2 ft level) running 16 inches up from bottom mark. 4. Mark and drill pilot hole for lag bolts (13/64ths). The holes in my mount were 3 and 14 5/8ths up from the bottom. 5. Use impact driver to attach mounts. Dont forget to put a washer (called a spacer in the instructions) on each lag bolt. 6. Install arms with hunch pins and clips. Check arm for angle, if that is critical for your usage. Tools (these are the tools I used, not all are mandatory) 1. Stud finder 2. 2 foot level 3. 6 foot level 4. Measuring tape 5. Drill and 13/64ths drill bit (could use 7/32nds) 6. Impact drill and half inch deep socket Complaints: 1. One of the hitch pins had a hole that didnt go all the way through, so I chatted with Amazon and got a $15 credit and bought an 1 1/2 inch pin for $1.45 from Ace Hardware 2. The specs mention that the arms tilt up slightly; three of mine (so a fourth of the arms) did not. The angle was not critical for wood stock, so that was not an issue for me.

Greater than one weekMost folks who need to rack up materials could build the racks. Don’t. These are so easy to put up and reconfigure. I contemplated for months in my new house how to arrange my garage/shop and then got these as a “temporary” stand in. The floor is now clear and I probably will have these the rest of my life. So easy, and I could hardly buy the tubing to build my own for the price.

> 3 dayAs many other reviews have said, get yourself some better lag bolts but other then that they are great. I’ve had stacks of wood all over my shop for years and these freed up so much more room for all sorts of activities. Like putting in bunk beds. If you can dodge a wrench you can put these up. Even got metal and posting out of the way. Worth every dime!
