This was easy to install. I have my system up and running 100% now. This system replaced my broken Namco system.

Great product! If purchased from NuWave AV they are version 9.17 which are compatible with the new 62 series keypads. Programmed my system in about 15 minutes. The 6162 keypad box says you can program in 10 minutes, maybe with a little more experience you could. Had bought and returned 2 other 20P panels from another prime seller that were damaged, and version 9.12. When I ordered the third replacement, I chose NuWave AV and I am sure glad I did! Received a perfect panel with the new firmware and programming addendum manual for the new series of keypads. I own 2 other Vista 20P panels at other propertys, and they are excellent, if not the best depending on how you plan/configure your system. MAKE SURE YOU BUY from NuWave AV for version 9.17. As of 12/5/13, they are the only sellers with this new firmware version. So much easier to program/setup if you use one of the new 6162/6162v compared to the 6160/6160v keypads..

This is a great and widely popular panel from Honeywell. I didnt have any issues swapping it out for my old panel, and hooking up my zones and expansion modules was straight-forward. This little panel does everything youd need it to. It does come with the required EOL resistors and zone doubling resistors, as well as the AC transformer. It does NOT come with a battery (which is clearly stated and I didnt mark off for). The one issue I have, and the reason I marked it down one star, is that the communications interface with external communications devices is less than ideal. The panel reports zone faults in real-time, but does not report zones clearing in real-time. This means that if youre using an external communicator, like the Eyez-On Envisalink, youll get notices of faults relatively fast, but it can take up to a minute or two before youll get a notice that everything has cleared up. DSC panels dont have that issue, as they report much more information on their interfaces. It doesnt bother me that much, and its easy enough to work around, but if youre a perfectionist, it might annoy you a bit. If youre using only keypads and professional monitoring, however, youll never notice this slight annoyance at all. The bottom line is this panel was extremely easy to hook up, had no issues with installation or programming, and works perfectly for its intended purpose. I can certainly recommend Honeywell panels to others.

Works as expected. I bought this control panel as a replacement of an older Vista 10 panel so that I could take advantage of my existing hardwired sensors. I also purchased the Envisalink 3 in order to have remote access capabilities.
